I still kinda wish they would have included little Brigade Helm and Glengarry Bonnet hats for the action figures. Would have been the icing on the cake for me.

I explain to them about the art style, the classes and their personalities, and the different types of weapons.
Hats come after that.

MvM gave it a new life for me

Yeah the problem is, the more content we get, the more bugs we also we get. And most of this content comes from the community only to be f***ed by Valve.

people are just complaining about the hats, not a big deal. It's only cause with the internet, everything is recorded in text form forever instead of just spoken once and gone forever. it's not like people are seriously mad IRL over this

people were expecting Valve to add neca promo around this time, if not before. this thread is sorta indirectly a thread about the hat codes since it's the patch that finally added them
Why are people still arguing over the Robo-Sandvich anyway? I have one, and it's kinda neat, but it's nothing to nearly flame other users over. Neither are the "lazy" promos with the figurines.
People who get upset over the virtual item that comes with a real product are the reason why fewer new [i]players [/i] are coming to TF2, and more new [i]Russian/Israeli microeconomists/scammers [/i] are taking their place. Too many "players" are more focused on dressing up or bolstering their net worth rather than actually doing anything, so people actually wanting to play a shooter are looking elsewhere.

i play tf2 most of my time but i get bored alot since i played atleast 1000 hours so i'm not having fun alot of time since heck tf2 it just the same over and over nothing new really besides acouple silly hats and weapons that are annoying and man vs machine just gives it a little more life but there are no new mechanics it feels like nothing new to learn.

My two cents on the promos? I would have loved to see Genuine weapons instead. Something would be somewhat more noticeable.
Promo should have been unusual Brigade Helm/Glengarry Bonnet with circling NECA logo.
