I'm having a hard time understanding what's so amazing about this update, other than the opportunity to get the melee weapon timing in third person animations down pat in your head.

TRUST me, hearts, logo, peace is fucking ANNOYING. It's not bad with some weapons/classes, but if you dare use the heavy's shotgun or soldier's shotgun...
Bubbles is in your face, its not THAT bad since they are transparent.
Confetti is in your face
Storm/blizzard is above you
I havent seen the others
Hearts is barely visible. you can only see part of the glow if you look straight up.

The ideal fov would be above 120, but then you'd have to distort it back... with a lens... kinda like the one on the Oculus Rift
