Sorta wish they would hybrid the two modes like they did in L4D1.
it actually works for me like that. I just op'd myself out and it started downloading tf2. Now I can switch whenever I want. I must be lucky or something v:v:v
ask a teammate to use a shotgun or pistol while standing still. Ignore the bullet and look at the playermodel, nothing happens. at least from my previous experiences with third-person. might be wrong. probably is wrong now that I think of it. ooh. valve pls
You are indeed wrong on that, i've seen enough shotgun heavies and Engineers spychecking with a shotgun to know It's only in clientside thirdperson view, and if Valve really wants to create an immersion mode in TF2 they'll have to fix this problem
I'm going to assume they hide hats by hiding everything attached to bip_head? Couldn't they hypothetically hide the arm bones and overlay viewmodels or something
What are unusual effects attached to? Because they show up in the world firstperson.
It seems to only be certain ones on certain classes that don't draw. My Haunted Ghosts Glengarry Bonnet and Knifestorm Dread Knot work great, but my Nuts&Bolts Your Worst Nightmare doesn't.
I'm going to assume they hide hats by hiding everything attached to bip_head? Couldn't they hypothetically hide the arm bones and overlay viewmodels or something
different bone names/positions I believe
i wish i could play TF2, when i left it it's getting more awesome.
Why can't you?
Why can't you?
Probably uninstalled it and lacks the time to get it back
Probably uninstalled it and lacks the time to get it back
the time to press "download"? :v:
the time to press "download"? :v:
Or the time it takes to download 11.5 GB on the steam connection
They should just work on improving the world model first person mode instead of trying to fix the literal hundreds of viewmodel glitches and inconsistencies there are. This also reminds me of Mirror's Edge.
Or the time it takes to download 11.5 GB on the steam connection
That and he might live in a shitty country where ISPs can get away with slapping bandwidth caps on you
Australia - Land of the "fuck you citizens, we say what goes" internet. (aka Telstra ISP)
What are unusual effects attached to? Because they show up in the world firstperson.
My orbiting fire doesn't
My orbiting fire doesn't
Orbiting planets doesn't show either. Blizzardy blizzard is pleasent, and bubbles is just obscuring as all hell, lol. It's like sticking your head just above the water in a bubble bath.
Australia - Land of the "fuck you citizens, we say what goes" internet. (aka Telstra ISP)
https://code.google.com/p/steam-limiter/ I used this when I downloaded TF2. It actually seems to work with TF2 (although I haven't seen very many other games that it works with)
So the import tool is fixed with team colors and everything in the Steampipe version, right?
They should just work on improving the world model first person mode instead of trying to fix the literal hundreds of viewmodel glitches and inconsistencies there are.
The default viewmodels can be lived with (Unless you are like me and use the custom Anims from GB) it's only the world view first person that just looks wrong at times, it also feels like you are just playing without any viewmodels when you play something like Scout alot
