Way better Drax, what logo did you choose in the end btw?
Ok done the "Carpenter's Cage" teamcolored, thanks for the suggestion "Kowalski". [IMG_thumb]http://i45.tinypic.com/2pzmgba.png[/IMG_thumb][IMG_thumb]http://i49.tinypic.com/243j53p.png[/IMG_thumb]
Wow, Imo it's better, I don't know what other people will think, but I'm a bit tired of the "yellow helmet". Really great job ! :golfclap:
Wow, imo it's really better, I don't know what other people will think, but I'm a bit tired or "yellow helmet". Really great job ! :golfclap:
Yeah I agree, plus it really sets it apart from the default hat so it's a much better choice, also NeoDement I went with the "Cent Tree Down" Logo, but I think I'll mess around with it, add some symbols or something because it looks abit silly with just text. Think I'll make the team-color lighter as well, looks a tad dark at the moment.
Way better Drex, what logo did you choose in the end btw?
i think you mean Drax, not Drex (i'd be happy if i could model a block :v: ). and i think he chose the "cent tree" one
I think they force you to disconnect, then quit, to have stats/records save properly. I have had a bunch of instances where quitting inside a server did not save a new record I set.
That's why I made this button first disconnect from the server, then quit afterwards.
Anyway I played around with the "Cent Tree Down" logo and mixed it together with the Carpy's Logo. What do you think, also I lightened up the team colors.:
Don't forget to make the yellow part of the hat more orange on the red version, if you haven't already.
That would require a seperate .vtf for the red and I've already got quite a few textures, I just think It would be over-the-top to do that, and at the moment the headphones kinda match both colors.
It looks way better just plain yellow. It balances the colours of the Engineer out.

You should sort that out... Show us your sheets.
Nooooo not team colours. Not everything needs team colours.
This does.
Yuh I'm still confused how can I keep the plain materials on one sheet like the Bonk Helmet does, the hard hat section uses a seperate .vtf because it has an ambient occlusion map on it, the cage and the headphones etc uses seperate sheets but I have no clue how to combine them. Like done with the other hats.
Show us, it's probably easy to fix.
Alright, gonna release the two buttons add-on. This will add two additional buttons to the menu. Toggle console - This will obviously toggle console on and off Fast Exit - Exits game immediately with one click, even if you are on a server. This package comes with support for FrankenHUD widescreen, none-widescreen and untouched menu layout. Download Known issues Clicking on the Toggle Console button does not work Fix: Click in the menu on Options, then Keyboard, then advanced and enable developer console. You can request new buttons if needed.
Show us, it's probably easy to fix.
Here's my .vtfs there all seperate Obviously this has to be done for "woodworker_helmet.vtf" because this is the hardhat texture which is not a plain texture. But the "woodworker_helmet_base.vtf" (The black color) "woodworker_helmet_trans.vtf" (The earmuff color) and "woodworker_helmet_frame.vtf" (The color of the front frame/guard) are all plain colors, I just don't know how to combine them into one texture, if you look at the Bonk! Helm it has one texture file for all the plain colors, that looks like this: How can I do that to my texture files, I just don't get how you apply the different colors to different parts of the model using just one file.

Open up any hat texture (not bonk helm/batters helm) and you'll see that everything is arranged inside that square.
You have to setup the UVs correctly for that - that is, select all the areas of a solid colour and resize the UV map to only cover the correct area of solid colour. I haven't followed which program you're using or I'd give more precise instructions.

NeoDement I don't understand why you want to look at my texture files as an image, I know that the texture is arranged in that square I think I know that much.... My texture files other than the hard hat texture are like I said, just solid colors, which means if I opened them they would just be a 8x8 square of a color like orange or green or whatever. I don't understand how showing you them would help you, help me.

All the other ones I've seen are just grunged up shit.
They're good but the edges are too choppy for my taste. Did you made them black with PS btw?
gotta move it back so it gets stuck on its head.

I can imagine his face becoming a mess of grey from a distance, especially with AA off. Plus, if more of his face were shown, any face-related misc items would get shown off more too :I also, preferred the old logo, this one looks too small.
