I had in mind a sentry based on laser levels with wooden segments, instead of a wooden skin of a sentry.

I don't think the leeches should be smaller. Scale and proportions are supposed to be skewed, as most of you know most classes' hands are bigger than their face.

I requested this right after the WAR update, but it got buried under all of the post-update commotion, so I think it's worth another shot at this point. When I think of wounded soldiers making last-ditch rushes at entrenched enemies, I don't think of a pickaxe. I think of the grunts using bayonets, and the group leader in the front holding an up-until-just-now ornamental sword above his head as if it'll turn him into He-Man when he gets within swinging range. Then they all die. Y'know what I was getting at, regardless.
Can someone make a Colt 45 ([url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_Peacemaker]Peacemaker[/url]) replacement for the ambassador ? that would be awesome, a good thing to submit to valve, and makes a good replacement because the actual ambassador animations and models are just ridiculous.

Isn't that already in the game, Sam and Max's stuff?

Alright, I haven't really done a whole lot of work on my models the past week because I've been busy with summer classes, but I've gotten around to working on them a bit this weekend. You can't see it in the render, but I've cleaned up the rocket launcher and removed a lot of unnecessary/hidden geometry. I've also added a few little details here and there to make it more visually interesting and break up the big spaces of nothingness. I added a little bomber-style sight on the side too. I'm going to put the artwork on the opposite side, facing the enemy. This'll make it more visually appealing from the enemy's perspective as well as making the first person view less busy and distracting. I'm also going to redo the UV maps and texture because it was a bit of a mess and I half-assed it. I'm basing this rifle off of the basic shape of a Browning Automatic Rifle, slightly modified into a shotgun. I've kind of changed my theme from aviation to a general World War II theme, and each of my weapons will reference an important US-related event from the war. The rocket launcher will, of course, be the atomic bombings, and the shotgun I'm planning to make D-Day themed (not quite sure how at the moment, but I'll figure something out). I didn't mind the tightly-packed cylinder thing you had going on earlier (which people voted down), but what you've got now has little in common with what you are attempting to replicate. I know that it's difficult to render transparency, but I'm dissapointed with the direction this project has gone in, and I'd be dissapointed to find this hat in-game if you plan on submitting it to Valve.
