I have a question for blender. I'm trying to export my model, but it says it cannot multifold meshes. I have no idea what this means and no way to fix it. Anyone know what to do?

I too have started making hats and such. I can model, but I suck at UVW mapping, but that's something I'll learn along the way. I'm currently making a steampunk set of hats for the engineer, heavy and demoman. I just have no clue how to test them in-game once they are done. So, two questions, in bold, because I need them answered. [b]How do I test my self-made hats in game?[/b] [b]Do I need to turn all square polygons into tris myself? Or does the game-engine or model compiler do that for me? And does this mean I have to double the poly count at the end of modelling?[/b]

Test your hats in game by making them replace others, such as the Gibus. I think that's the protocol anyway. Square polygons are automatically converted too. That much I know.

The engineers 'clip' or 'magazine' or whatnot just disappears, then he puts a new one in and it's fine. So just put the magazine back in the gun. That should be the whole animation.
