I have never traded with unusuals, but how do you even scam with actual items in a regular trade in TF2 (keys, buds, bills, etc.)

Some guy is offering me a Steaming Your Worst Nightmare painted white (If it adds something to it's price) for 1 Bud + 1 #40 crate, so i just wanted to know if it's a good trade.
