What I am saying is that its wrong to claim its a 17 bud hat just because one guy bought it for that off an unknowledgeable looking guy and another one is quickselling for that. And as you said prices are not set in stone. Also my comment was a reply to jimmee. I also agree that its not a rip off. I just thought its rude to butt into other peoples trades and talk the price down, even though I dont know that guy. I would buy it but like I said getting pure right now is hard even if you price your hat fairly and I just don't like beams a lot.

I can only assume the buyer is paying buyout, seeing as someone offered $550 for it and it's not reserved for him. In return I offered B/O since I assume the reason it's reserved is because the buyer is still gathering. So I was hoping to beat him by already having what is needed. Maybe my logic is way off, but those were my assumptions. I'm on the verge of retracting my offer anyway. I'm happy to settle for what I have.

You need to actually read the quotes properly before going on a ranting spree, pointing at everyone. The truth is I got offered a Burning Kabuto + 1 bud for my reggae, which is ~31. However, if you ever checked my SOP thread, you could see I have a price of 27 pure there, so it's not "a overvaluing based on backpack.tf derp" so get your shit. The price of 25 is because I bought it for ~23 and it's 1 of 2 on a pretty nice hat and effect combo. I never said I would reject 20 pure.

I admit that I'm not terribly familiar with how unusuals are gauged in value; on average, where would a Vintage Tyrolean with flies sit? That one specific setup is something I'd be interested in, and it'd be nice to know the general ballpark of what it's worth in keys/buds/whatever if I ever came across somebody willing to hawk one.

Quick question. Would an unusual with a History showing person 1 being the original owner then it being traded to person 2 and most recently being traded back to person 1 cause people to think the hat could be duped or something fishy going on with it? It isn't but I have basically had 2 tf2 accounts for as far as I can remember. 1 was my real playing only account and the other is just my pure trading account. I'd like to trade this unusual to my main account to keep for good but i'm not sure if in the future i'd want to sell it if any problems would arise. I don't think it should but you never know with unusuals. The hat in question is a bubbling phantom.
