So if a Mac user like myself was to extinguish your flames, what would your reaction be to him/(her)?
what would you think would be the first reaction he would do? (hint: Z->2)
i'd say "thanks, at least one mac isnt a noob at tf2"
Of course,I always do this. And reflect enemy pipebombs just so I could save my teammates. They never say thanks. :frown:
Welcome to the life of a Good pyro.
That comic needs to be updated with him unsapping something.
Protip for all you other players on fire: STOP RUNNING FROM ME I'M TRYING TO POOF YOU OUT OH LOOK YOU DIED LIKE A DUMMY AAAAAAAA :argh:
Next time i'm playing Pyro, i'm equipping my normal flamethrower but keeping my axtinguisher and staying back to support the team instead of bumrushing.
I do that all the time.
It's because of all the mac users, they can't M2, just M.
you're so funny and witty, saying a joke that definitely hasn't been proven null and void several fucking times already
I do this all the time
Protip for all you other players on fire: STOP RUNNING FROM ME I'M TRYING TO POOF YOU OUT OH LOOK YOU DIED LIKE A DUMMY AAAAAAAA :argh:
One time I was chasing after this one guy who not only ran from me while on fire, but jumped away every time I tried to airblast him. Turned out that he was actually an enemy Spy. :downs:
I was playing on a server today, and it was one of those "new player friendly servers." I didn't want to make things difficult for the new players, so I went Medic, when the Pyro I'm healing asks me how he can get the backburner. I said: You don't want it. "Why not?" Because you can't use compression blasts, that is why. "Compression blasts are useless." Boy when he said that, everyone, including me, all started calling him a wm1 noob Pyro. I put out his fire with a compression blast when he was on fire later on in the game, saved his life. I said "See?" He left.
yeah, ~pro~ players, not like it's all about killing. who the fuck is there to extinguish you, to reflect a signed death contract back to its owner? pybro, of course!
Made my day.
I always try to use compression blast in any situation. When I try to put team mates out though, they either run away from me and dont even realize I can put them out, or notice Im following them and yell spy while shooting me, and by then they are already dead or not on fire anymore. Also, pyros get no thanks for anything. They are arguably the class with the widest range of abilities, yet no one ever seems to care and just labels them as dumb W+m1. I defend engineers, spycheck, cap points, put flaming team mates out, destroy sappers, kill snipers, reflect crit rockets that could kill 4 people at once, I take on heavies alone and usually win (strafing is your friend) and when I get an uber, I take out engineer nests quicker than any heavy. The pyro life is a rewarding, yet lonely one. Also it pisses me off to no end when im at the top of the score board, feeling proud, and some dumb faggot says "ugh dat guy really annoys me he cant even play the game he just flames every1 hes just a w+m1" But I dont mind. Because you know whats next to that faggots name? Thats right, a domination symbol.
I have a hard time realizing who the good and bad pyros are. Whenever I dance around in front of one they never put me out, when I run away and die they call me an idiot for not letting them put me out. :saddowns:
I mostly use the Backburner, when I don't I always do this
There should be a final frame where he gets killed by a BB pyro with downs syndrome. Because that's what always happens to me. :saddowns:
There should be a final frame where he gets killed by a BB pyro with downs syndrome. Because that's what always happens to me. :saddowns:
uugh, backburner pyros you should turn around, airblast them and shotgun their asses
I'm always thankful to pyros who unsap my buildings or extinguish me, I just never say thanks because I've got a terrible microphone and don't want to stop to type, and I always forget where the voice command is.
z+2 now we know you don't use it that much.
uugh, backburner pyros you should turn around, airblast them and shotgun their asses
I try and usually pull it off but there are those times where I have no shotgun ammo. If I use flares, to be more useful against threats like heavies and soldiers I'm fucked.
z+2 now we know you don't use it that much.
I don't use any of the voice commands that much, which is why I always forget where they are.
facedesk
I do that, but when I'm playing other classes, and I'm on fire, I call MEDIC, Pyro's don't help. I died several times because nobody bothered to AB the fire off me.
I only use thank you, spy, medic, incoming, and Activate Charge when for real playing. When im joking around im always yelling something like a battlecry or YES.
Of course,I always do this. And reflect enemy pipebombs just so I could save my teammates. They never say thanks. :frown:
I would say thanks. And give you my sandvich if you needed health.
:3: I only use thanks, spy, medic, incoming. And move up as engie.
I did not know about this. Thanks OP

I have a friend who swore by using the backburner. In the first game he played pyro in my company, he actually managed to get the crits on a heavy. He typed a smug "See?" into chat. I proceeded to change teams and airblast him off a cliff.
