Apart from me disagreeing with the chart in general (how the hell did brainslug and worms gear score that high on art style?), I don't really see how it's possible for the Tricorne and the Raincatcher to vary in the "fits character" criterium seeing how they're exactly the same hat concept but executed differently.

I still find the Tricorne to be an acceptable hat though, unlike the Brainslug.
It's colors doesn't deviate from the artstyle, it fits perfectly with his eyepatch, it also fits his drunken, overconfident and sadistic personality.
It's not the best hat in the game, but it's a hell lot better than the Brainslug.
I still wonder how you make weapons paintable in HLMV.

Alright, I'm trying to compile something for the first time (a sandvich replacement), and no matter what I do, the model will not load into tf2. All I get is the texture for my model on the default sandvich. How would I go about fixing this?
(related to emporium because I plan on releasing something finally)

Would there be interest in a "TF2 For Bitter Assholes" mod? It'd disable either hats or paints, and disable text chat so the player's eyes won't be sullied by [i]the plebes[/i] trading their wares like so many communists. Maybe I'd remove the shop button as well, I dunno.

Sounds like it removes far too much. I don't see anyone using that if it goes beyond just removing hats. Text chat and the shop are kind of big parts of the game now.

I think it's more sensible to note that the console version of the game has none of the improvements the PC version has.
Whilst I do crave vanilla occasionally (Usually after I get killed by a Natasha heavy with a pink football helm with floating TF logo) I don't want it so badly that I'd revert to the console.
Plus the best console I have is a Sega Genesis, so...

a) My parents won't allow me.
