Did Daimao actually put in new paint maps for the Brainslug? When provoked he posted the Wiki page, and I dont like the current brainslug coloring, I think it needs to be brighter.
An even cooler use of particle effects on models would be some kind of shotgun like FO3's railway rifle. It could have old steam engine rods connected to the pump/grip thing and it would release a puff of smoke with every shot from some apparatus near the back. Can we stop with all the Engineer love please? Do we really want to contribute to a world with more Sentry guns? Although honestly I can't think of any such particle effects for the other classes; maybe gas vapors/sparks for the flamethrower? OOOH here's a great one: blood spurts for backstabs, like a serious amount of gore (maybe even a few seconds of having the 'bleed' effect applied to the Spy's screen). Yeah, I like that one. Backstabs with gore cranked up to 11.

I'd like to see more particle effects made in general, for anything really. I'm sure I'm not alone here.

How do you enable Anti-aliasing in the model viewer? Ive never found a way. Also, the transparency works just fine on the visor

I agree. Maybe there is less to do, with valve budding in, and I think possibilities shifted when valve added paint.
