Tiny barrel just doesn't work. What's the point in a body that's massive enough for it to be mistaken for a battering ram, with a tiny little stick of barrel?

Not for mine - it's meant to be lighter than the others, which is why there's not a giant drum hanging on the side.

Agree with this guy.
Also: if it's meant to be lightweight, then you don't want a long barrel. Just some ideas you're free to reject: either three short barrel bundles, or totally change the firing animation and have three individual barrels firing with a 'piston/recoil' animation in fast succession.

I second this. Even though, in all honesty, I'd find it kinda cool if the barrel itself would be hidden in that big drum.

When I first saw that, I thought for some reason it was a laser minigun.
All it would need is a huge battery instead of the ammo drum and perhaps some funky Retro-scifi on it and It'll look pretty damn cool.

Only mods that require new animations.
Basically, giving Heavy a big hammer would not work because it would look silly with the fist animations.
You could give it new animations, but that would mean replacing the animation for the regular fists.

Made the handle a bit bigger too, because it was slightly too small for the heavy to hold before.
