I'm guessing this is supposed to be a new hat for Demoman.
I would recommend aiming to turn it into a misc item instead, such as the Whiskered Gentleman and Procedure mask.
Hats usually don't cover the face, however misc items do.
If you want it to be a misc item though, you should probably make the top part shorter so that it won't clip with Demoman's other hats.
Well, as a hat, it would conflict with the upcoming shades. As a misc, it would have to be mush shorter and then it would just look silly, instead of the awesomeness it shows now.

I do like those colours a lot, but I don't know if they really fit in the TF2 style.
However, the TF2 style being just a big joke by now, you could paint them with green stripes that it wouldn't matter.

Well, one of the reasons I made it for the demoman is so that I could make it look like one of the eyes could look like it's sewn shut. I think it looks pretty cool.
