Question for you modelers, is it hard to make a Sniper hat that fits his character? Because that's what everyone makes it out to be.

Use $alphatest instead of $translucent.
$translucent is intended to be used for two dimensional objects.

Yeah, the lack of plastic shine made me enjoy it a lot more.
I'm personally a bit bugged about the color though, I feel it doesn't match his clothes good enough.
However this is a personal and very nit-picky opinion, so it's not really a main priority.
