Give it a wood + dark metal color scheme like an actual PPSh. It looks strange right now. And I say ditch the Mann Co. logo. But that's just my opinion.

I sketched the original Sonya concept right after the WAR! update so at the time that was the cool new thing to have on your gun.

Hey guys, got a little update on the Headsplitter. I am doing a fix and update for my hat that i am going to send to Valve which i hope they eventually use. My first order of business is LOD for the hat. [img]http://www.treybrown.com/images/uploads/Headsplitter_LOD.jpg[/img] I hope this is how you are supposed to do LODs for models. This is my first time doing it. Also, is it more optimized to for the headsplitter to even have a LOD, or is it more intense to calculate the LODs on such a small polycount model? At any rate i have fixed all the normal smoothing woes and unplugged the hole. Now onto my next order of business. Paint.
I like to equip the Headsplitter on the Medic in combination with the Procedure Mask. Looks like a murdered doctor or something. :buddy:

Or is that needed?[/QUOTE] Its just cheaper to leave it there, also it helped me keep the shape of the blade as i made it. If i where to make the end of it hug the blood it would increase the polycount by a decent amount. One of the changes i am going to ask Valve is to make sure that the Headsplitter is left ON when the player dies, so you wont even know the black spot is there. Along side that and the new bucket icon i am making that DOESN'T have the black spot under it, it will be like the black area never even existed.
