However, thats using HL2 scale. TF2 runs on a completely different system.
HL2 Models are 73 units standing while TF2 models are at 83 units. It may not look like much but once you get into the map itself the scaling differences really becomes apparent. Just look at any gmod video where TF2 models are in a hl2 map and they look huge. The opposite can be said for TF2 maps with hl2 models in then were the hl2 models look smaller then they should.
I don't fully understand why valve changed the scaling of models so much in TF2 but its an important thing to keep in mind when making maps for source.
