Would you rather have 3 consecutive Axtinguisher's?
In the last 10 minutes: 9519 avg idlers, 924 items (0 were hats)
I just got an Axtinquisher as well.
Also, that sucks for the idlers.
Nothing new, guess Valve wont give anything new.
Be happy that you can play!My graphics card probably burned...can't play anymore:/
I got the masters jarate belt last night :smug:
I'm cool for now.

Do the kukri taunt and tell me how it goes.
He takes off an invisible hat. And the headband is still there.

Your avatar.
Do you think valve would have gone and made it some sort of puzzle sort of thing?
We all know about that bloody newspaper article right? The one with the robot. And how it talks about Robin Walker.
If you go to the TF2 blog, the only two posts from Robin Walker was a Tuesday and a Thursday that have been made recently, the last posts dating back to when 'Meet the Spy' was leaked. While the timestamps on http://www.teamfortress.com/classless/hidden/populace/ and http://www.teamfortress.com/classless/hidden/geographic_lumps/ were Tuesday and Thursday.
Similarity? Possibly.
If it's possible, I'm wondering if someone could find any hidden links in the blog posts.

If all else fails, then maybe there's going to be new info on August 25th (25th comes from Thursday 25 on the hills discovered page), which is also Tuesday, which is the same day (last week) valve released day one of the classless update.
Another similarity it found is every newspaper page's timestamp is marked with the year 1895, with the exception of the bots being 1900. That's a 5 (Fuck.) year difference. What game has valve made that had bots? Counter-Strike:Source, which was released October 7, 2004. That was 5 years ago.
When browsing on TF2's Wikipedia page, I came across a citation about bots, being the 10th citation, curiosity took me to this article.

For all I know I'm just on a wild goose chase, but the similarities are pretty enjoyable.
I also stumbled upon this while on my conspiracy train.

Only Valve can make things so complicated and mysterious without even trying 0_o;
So nothing happened?
/silly Valve

I told you all so.
1895, with the exception of the bots being 1900. That's a 15 year difference.
Those 15 years went by way faster than I expected. Are you sure about those 10 extra years you got there, bud?

Team Fortress is, and it was created by John Cook, Ian Caughley, and Robin Walker.

Dude, it's not a 15 year difference, but a 5 year difference :/
I think...They're done with this update, or they are experiencing serious technical problems.
New update, chop chop guys, go find out if anything is new.
Dude, it's not a 15 year difference, but a 5 year difference :/
Fuck sakes I had it at 5 and I was told that it was 15 so I changed it.
Oh well you get the point.
Today's update:
Updates to Team Fortress 2 and Day of Defeat: Source have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:
Orange Box Engine
Fixed an exploit that allowed files to be uploaded to the server at arbitrary locations in the file system
Fixed a server crash caused by a client packet claiming to be an HLTV client when HLTV is disabled on the server
Fixed a server crash caused by spoofing a client disconnect message
Fixed a server crash caused by sending malformed reliable subchannel data
Fixed a server crash related to unbounded settings on some convars
Team Fortress 2
Bullet spread algorithm changed to fire a bullet right down the crosshair under these circumstances:
The first bullet of a spread weapon (except for rapid fire spread weapons like the minigun)
The first bullet of a non-spread weapon if it's been >1.25 seconds since firing
Added a "Disable HTML MOTDs" option to the multiplayer->advanced dialog
Added "motdfile_text" convar to servers, which allows them to specify a text file that’s shown instead of the HTML MOTD to clients who've turned on this option
Fixed radius damage not tracing out of enemies when the explosion occurs within them
Fixes rockets & grenades doing no splash damage when fired point blank into enemies
Added missing snowpuff particles for DX8 players (honest)
Restored LOD for the Demoman player model
Fixed being able to alt-fire with the fists while stunned as a Heavy
Fixed CTF_Sawmill not ending the map when mp_timelimit hits during the middle of a round
Fixed the "The Big Hurt" achievement not being awarded for players who already have the required count
Fixed sv_pure not reloading the map's custom particle file
Custom particle effects contained within maps must now be placed in the \particles directory
Fixed another case where items weren't being validated properly in class loadout slots what?!
Community requests
Removed centerprint texts for TF_FLAGTYPE_INVADE CTF game mode
Changed TF_FLAGTYPE_INVADE CTF game mode capture reward from 10 kills to 1 capture
Added OnCapTeam1 and OnCapTeam2 outputs to the item_teamflag and func_capturezone entities
Fixed HUD "carried" image for the TF_FLAGTYPE_ATTACK_DEFEND and TF_FLAGTYPE_INVADE CTF game modes using the wrong team color
Fixed dropped flag for the TF_FLAGTYPE_INVADE CTF game mode using the wrong skin

The hell is this CTF_INVADE stuff?
ctf_invade might be a new map?
Actually, it's probably a community map and gamemode.
TF2maps.net has a ton influence, it seems
