I used a mic in counter-strike source when I was 11. I played jailbreak and I just gave the Ts some orders and then I looked at the scoreboard later and saw 10 dead Ts, me being last CT and only 2 Ts. I went to the most open area of the map and went "Kill me, people are waiting".
I was pretty mature.
I stayed away from the microphone in TF2, mostly because I felt it had a more mature and older playerbase (It does, or at least players who use microphones, who would be like "Dude, stop using your microphone". It hurt sensitive 11 year old me's feelings.
Then I visited (eGO) and realized what [B]I[/B] was doing and kept my microphone down, all in all I was pretty mature at 11 and I still am now, at 12.

When I was 10 I played TF2 on my dad's account, since he played TF2 since '06. There was no crafting so the only things I could do was
[B]1[/B]. Change loadouts.
[B]2[/B]. Unlock more achievements for more weapons (Not even bad)
So I just played without problems, we probably still have the same taste in weapons(Although, he's an avid demoman player, I'm really unskilled at demoman). Then I washed some old mans boat and got 30 dollars. Team Fortress 2 was on some deal for sort of cheap and I bought it with enough to still get c-strike source.

Exactly. It's more efficient in killing people, but that doesn't make it better overall.
And people who say Huntsman == for people who can't aim, you're completely dumb. Just try to make accurate long range shots with the huntsman. Close range, yes, twitch reflexes plus projectile means you're more likely to hit someone, but that's the offset for the abysmally slow firing rate.
Also Rifler VS Huntsmaner, depending on the twitch reflexes (same skill needed for very close range huntsman) of the rifler, the huntsman sniper will provide a challenge to hit, as if he knows where you are, you only got a split second to move before a draw and you both die.
Download Gang Garrison and tell him that there was a patch and this is TF2 now, with no hats.
