I just found two festive crates.
At first when i saw this update i was like
Man, fuck this shit im never gonna get that crate, I cant even buy keys.
But then i got one 3 hours later. I'm shocked and all...but how would one open it.
I mean it says you cant open it with a normal key, valve is gonna release a winter map or some shit similar to horseless Headless horseman or something.
Cmon valve it's christmas, give everyone keys to open the crates.

so far i got 2 crates, 1 festive crate, 1 hat, about 10 weapons
I idled all last night, I got 3 festive crates and a ton weapons.
Why are people so desperate for these things?

The crate expires. Which means, let's say the required buyables were Festive Keys, would be left behind after the crates expire. Which means people would get ripped off or just useless items laying around.

The fact someone would just blindly and ignorantly assume the crates would cost money kinda irritates me. As if they know Valve enough to assume that.
