Yeah but they aren't original crates. They are Festive Winter crates, aka Christmas which is a time of giving and sharing. If Valve actually makes it so that they profit off these crates, I lose all remaining respect for them.

Seriously, I last used a key on a series 5 crate with a 7 to 3 chance of getting something I didn't already have and pretty cool. Instead of getting something awesome, I got GUNBOATS.

Valve have hardly been dishing out keys for free so far. Their recent actions haven't really inspired much confidence in me tell you the truth.
They're also not averse to changing stuff and pissing people off. Case in point, accepting the paint fix for the Stovepipe. People who bought paint specifically to colour it all in got 'screwed over' by their reckoning.
