I played last night and got a Festive crate for my first drop since the update. Then I started up source tools to idle for the night and got two more when I woke up, as well as a handful of weapons. I Cant believe people are giving refined for them. These things are flying out of my ass.

Seriously, jump on Day Traders or one of those trading servers and you'll find so many idiots readily giving hats, metals and all sorts of stuff for the Festive crates.
Fuck you idlers.
I was on this server today, and every half hour or something I saw "X has found: Festive Winter Crate"
After 4 hours half the server had got them.

Playing the game hasn't been rewarding since they introduced the drop system.
Milestones reward you for playing the game until you've unlocked them all, then the reward for playing the game is replaced by the drop system rewarding you for just starting the game and joining a server.
