So I idled. I got no holiday crates. :smith:
But I did get a hat drop! :unsmith:
I got a Festive Winter Crate and a Professional's Panama.
I got a Master's Yellow belt when trying to find a Festive Winter Crate
I saw some desperate guy offer a hat for a festive crate.
I had one spare so i gave it to him for free :D
It doesn't, people just like to bitch about how other people go against their "morals."
Or they don't have good enough machines to leave it on all night in order to idle. :v:

Really? My old machine was a hunk of garbage and TF2 was the most advanced thing it could run, I could idle all night on it.
You don't need a good computer to idle.
Some computers graphics cards burn out a lot easier than others. Leaving your computer on all night can easily cause this to happen.

idle with text mode?
Text mode wasn't nearly as popular and used back in the golden ages of idling. :v:

Textmode is badass. Especially since you can idle in training.
Sorry for being such a gigantic idiot, but what is text mode, and how do you use it?

More interested in how how you text mode in offline practice
Also, textmode = -textmode in launch options
Probably with source tools.

Whenever people talk about textmode, I always think it turns TF2 into this:
"You wake up in a room with a tiled floor, there is a door to your north, a resupply to your east and west, and an Engineer to your south, where do you go?"
-South
"You walk up to the Engineer, introducing yourself: 'Good evening', you say, 'I'm a Medic, what's your name?'
...No reply comes from the Engineer, you then see words appear on your face "TRADING STOUT SHAKO FOR VINTAGE FEZ OR UNUSUAL ATTENDANT, NO LOWBALLING""

You enter a room, obvious exits are NORTH, SOUTH, and DENNIS. You see a briefcase.
>Get ye briefcase.
You can't get ye briefcase!

But how would everyone be able to move around with so many places? It would need millions of event flags...

You now sit and wonder why you couldn't possibly get ye briefcase!
I got a Master's Yellow belt when trying to find a Festive Winter Crate
Could I trade it with you for my Trophy Belt?
I think I'll be disappointed when there's a Christmas event linked to this crate and it doesn't drop for me before that.

I'll give you one if you don't get one before that, since I have four.
I think this MIGHT happen: Valve gifts everyone a festive key.
The key is added to the store for like $5 or $10 for people with more than one Festive crate.
And it only includes a Santa hat or santa beard for each class.
Actually, I wouldn't mind a Santa beard for each class if it was paintable. I wanna be Rasputin Heavy.
