Copper, Silver and Golden tokens. Copper is 4 ref. Used in Fabricate Exclusive Class Weapon (Class Token + Slot Token + Copper Token + 1 Reclaimed Metal) and Fabricate Exclusive Class Headgear (Class Token + Copper Token + 5 Refined Metal) recepies. Allows to choose up to 3 particular items that will not be crafted. Cost in ref: token (4), weapon (4,66), hat (9,11) Silver token is 3 Copper tokens. Used in Fabricate Approximate Class Weapon and Fabricate Approximate Class Headgear recepies (the same + 1 metal per recepy). Allows to choose up to 6 particular items that will not be crafted. Token (12), weapon (13), hat (18,11) Golden token is 3 Silver tokens. Used in Fabricate Exact Class Weapon and Fabricate Exact Class Headgear recepies (like silver ones but + 1 more metal). Allows to choose 50% of items that will not be crafted. Token (36), weapon (37,33), hat (43,11) Watch that metal washing away. Also, they do already have these items in game, but without any function and normal textures.

People need some incentive to craft away before it's reduced on a wide scale. Costly weapon recipes don't do much, so that's a bust. Craft numbers were a decent idea, but they can be met by just crafting 2 hats together instead for a cheaper metal cost. If the hat craft recipe is equal or lower in price compared to mashing 2 hats together, more people would be inclined to just craft hats with metal instead of trading for hats to craft with.

I found a new random exploit I have the scout fish speed With the ham shank (WITH ANY CLASSES,INCLUDE HEAVY) And It do the normal classes damage (so,that like a free upgrade)

Not only would some stupidly expensive items become less so, I would be able to experience the joy of my TF2 youth of crafting random hats again without worrying about losing loadsamoney.
