tf2 on the xbox
So you always bitch about how we only get hats and what not (and don't say you don't because we all know you do) and when they finally start optimizing the game, you whine about that too? pls go
obviously they should be diverting all manpower in to making more half-baked weapons and release another shitfest like the uber update
tf2 on the xbox
I love how it's so blatantly obvious they aren't moving their crosshair/camera with a mouse
shortening the loading times by up to over 150%
How can you decrease something by over 100 percent?
obviously they should be diverting all manpower in to making more half-baked weapons and release another shitfest like the uber update
I'd much rather have 10 +damage -firing speed weapons than being able to start the game in half the time it takes now and load maps in a few seconds!
-snipples-
Is there any promos or game-breaking bugs which indicate a minor update in the immediate future?
Tier 4 and 5 metal?
Id much prefer tier 15 metal
How can you decrease something by over 100 percent?
before you even think about opening tf2 and playing it, its already started up and waiting for you
Loading the game and its maps already take but a few seconds for me, and the game runs perfectly. So yes, I'd rather they devote more effort to impacting gameplay.
So you always bitch about how we only get hats and what not (and don't say you don't because we all know you do) and when they finally start optimizing the game, you whine about that too?
How is this optimizing the game? Last I checked, we still have things like the Winger and the Dalokohs Bar in desperate need of buffs. Mark my words, this update will break more than it "fixes." Valve always does that.
How is this optimizing the game? Last I checked, we still have things like the Winger and the Dalokohs Bar in desperate need of buffs.
I'm sure more people are concerned about optimization than petty weapon buffs.
I wonder if this key party game will be an X-Rated DDR-type game where you have to input commands to keep the rhythm Because if it is, Hypertails will be the happiest man on the planet if he picks up Sam's key...

I'm sure more people are concerned about optimization than petty weapon buffs.
So you all care more about saving a few bucks on a computer that isn't ancient to play the game, rather than the game (its mechanics) itself?
Loading the game and its maps already take but a few seconds for me, and the game runs perfectly.
"It runs perfectly fine for me, therefore it works perfectly fine for everyone else!"
So you all care more about saving a few bucks on a computer that isn't ancient to play the game, rather than the game (its mechanics) itself?
I play TF2 fine, but if the game is poorly optimized, only so many people will care about the weapon balances because most will have trouble playing in the first place. A lot of your complaints are valid, but you often over state and over exaggerate them. We get it. TF2 isn't treated as well as it used to be. However, that does not neglect that some people still enjoy and play the game. In other words, tone down your optimism a bit. I understand you love TF2 so much but your rainbows are drowning the rest of us.
So you all care more about saving a few bucks on a computer that isn't ancient to play the game, rather than the game (its mechanics) itself?
I have an i7 and a 460m. I used to max the game out on a random regular Quad Core and a 9800gt, and less than a half as much ram. There is still significant slowdowns on many occasions. Get over yourself and realize there is an actual optimization problem.
Wait, when did they add that "Paint Color" feature?
How wonderful would it be, to be able to put as many different paints as you want on a single item, and change between them like styles. No more having to buy two of the same hat just to get both a colored and default version.
I'm just praying that the game will finally stop not responding halfway through connecting to any server
Wait, when did they add that "Paint Color" feature?
I know, I swear I did not see it in the update menu...
I know, I swear I did not see it in the update menu...
http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=10180 It's the third one in the list.
My strange weapons's counter and rank doesn't show up ingame anymore, yet it's still tracking kills and stuff on Tf2B, happening to anyone else?
My strange weapons's counter and rank doesn't show up ingame anymore, yet it's still tracking kills and stuff on Tf2B, happening to anyone else?
Try signing out and back into Steam. Strange counters are linked to community (like the rest of your inventory), so relogging may refresh that. It's worked in a few cases friends have had where they had no loadout and community pages wouldn't load.
Oh no, My 700 ping is back... Last time it happened was before the Mecha Update and before that it was the Halloween and Pyromania (Was at a convention during MvM launch)
Here's a headscratcher; I just got my soundtrack in the mail today.
Amazon: Portal 2: Songs to Test By Various Artists Order total: $16.19
So I immediately redeem my Ap-Sap code and put it on the Market:
An item you listed in the Community Market has been sold to YEAH TOAST!. Your Steam Wallet has been credited 27.50 USD.
There was even a Dota2 key in there. Not that I'm not pleased and all, but this trading economy is kind of crazy. (also, i find key parties pretty hilarious by nature. that seems like a good omen.)
So, here's what I'm thinkin'. Keep in mind my mind may have been under questionable influence when I put it together. But what if the key party thing works like this... How do I word this... It's Poker Night 2. Right? So what if you play in teams. 21 and 24 bet Brock's knife, Chell keeps her cool poker face and holds the card while Wheatley does the talking. Sam and Max, of course they work best in a pair. I don't know enough about Borderlands or Evil Dead to come up with the 'partners' from those franchise but I'm sure they're there.
21 and 24 bet Brock's knife
It seems that Brock Samson would be more likely to be the character in the game since Patrick Warburton is in everything...
It seems that Brock Samson would be more likely to be the character in the game since Patrick Warburton is in everything...
I'd personally prefer 21 and 24 because I love their banter. Don't get me wrong, Brock's great. I just don't see him very interesting in that sort of setting. 21 and 24 also fit with the whole "key party", "partners" angle I'm sorta pushing. Posting this just because it's already a classic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBoRLr3kgtU
