I am gonna keep speculating on the key party thing. Do you think Telltale will make a game involving bestiality? I'm pretty sure that 90% of Sam and Max fans are furries anyway so they might as well cut out the flash-game making middlemen.

Well,let's speculate about what will contain the steampipe update.
I think a 3rd misc slot will be in.
And probably the Giant Head ,for the demo (if it's a weap ,here some idea: the demo fall 2x faster when sticky jump,they are no fall damage if the user fall on an ennemy, the ennemy will take 3x the fall damage/will be stunned ,if the demo fall on a field,the fall damage are multiplied per 1.5 )

A little off-speculation, but I think it'd be pretty cool if they made the mvm escort thing (where the players are attacking, and the robutts defending), but that's not my idea. I was thinking it'd be nice if there were Nightmare versions, in which the map is flipped (ie like on mariokart); so if you would regularly turn a left, you go a right. Down is still down, up is still up.

I think what they should do instead of a 3rd misc slot, have more hats like the Lumbricus Lid that combine a Hat and a Misc.

I really doubt the Steampipe update will be anything other then the conversion to Steampipe.

I don't think they'll risk it. Steampipe will have lots of day 1 bugs on its own, no need to complicate it even further with possible day 1 bugs to items or new mechanics.
However, I do think we're very close to a new main menu, more like Dota and the future CSGO menu, with tabs at the top and more open areas with a browser right on the blog at all times/patch notes, etc.
Speaking of the main menu, why do some people have that "view promotional codes" thing at the bottom? I don't

I may be a bit late on this but I was looking at some weapons and saw that the VMTs for the lollichop were set up for paint. I wonder if Valve will set up paint for weapons in the future. Highly doubtful, but you never know. I do know about the painted cow manglers, I just did not know other weapons were set up the same way.
I already used my Rift code. But I'm a cheapass bastard who is against having to buy games either on Steam or DRM-free ones that require you to buy a subscription. So I got RIFT Lite, and got my hat. I can't fucking wear it because RIFT's devs are jackasses who don't allow F2Ps to wear rare items. And yet I still have the promotional code thing on my main menu despite having deemed it on my TRION worlds account.

I rarely see people who use the targe exploit to turn really fast, but when I do it's pretty frustrating. Good news is that they have to use a controller so if they change class there'll be a delay or they'll have worse aim.
I'm hoping for a lot of things, like a third misc update. I know a lot of people say it's unnecessary, but there are some miscs that don't conflict with up to two other miscs and still look nice, so why not? I still like ned's idea of just cosmetic slots and no hat/misc dichotomy but I doubt it'll happen. I wish they'd swap over to Dota 2's style of player models and still keep skin support (not models of course, maybe give easy instructions on how to split up the model to convert it). I'd love for them to add new training missions for the other classes and also proper support for the computer player bots to use custom weapons, since that'll help new players get used to the game and various weapons out there (an option for the bots to keep stocks would be there too). I'd like for them to buff some shitty weapons like the Dalokohs, Sun-on-a-Stick, Winger, Sharpened Volcano Fragment, Eviction Notice, Short Circuit, Razorback, etc. I could spend all day thinking of how to buff them by the way. But Steampipe should be nice, I have an SSD and a good computer so TF2 runs amazing at high settings but more performance couldn't hurt.

The targe turning exploit doesn't require them to use a controller for everything. Lei Lei, for example, uses the keyboard exclusively and only moves her left hand to the control stick when charging, since wasd and other controls are effectively useless while charging.
