I still don't see why they did not make the Samson Skewer (Brock Samson's knife) a melee weapon. I think it would have fit nicely with Soldier or Sniper.
I was kind of hoping that since promotional items have changed between Poker Night 1 and 2, that we would be able to get some weapons with stats. Guess not though. :/

Melee reskins are always a terrible thing. Even when they're ham or bones.

At least some of them has some sort of variety to them. The one that I like the best is the Apoco-Fists, but had they made it a KGB reskin ([b]including[/b] the "crit kill will gib" thing), I would love it even more.

Items with unique stats only obtainable by buying another game? Do you not realize how stupid that is?
man I honestly wonder why they decided to make tf2 last for releasing
like I am okay that they are making sure everything works before releasing it for TF2 but seriously when did they start caring
really that's just another piece of evidence to throw on the pile that the TF2 team got some actual responsible adults working on it

Or Engineer, since the Heavy claimed the Engi brought him there. I've personally thought of a workaround for as to how Poker Night events could be canon (and two possible explanations to make Heavy's stories canon), but fuck it, no one cares about headcanons. But here's the thing- how is Poker Night canon to Sam and Max, Penny Arcade and Homestar Runner but not TF2? It should be canon for all participants imo, but meh, whatever, Valve.
Spy would fit the Poker Night scene pretty well too I think, being the suave, charming ladykiller he is.

It's probably because even though they use TF2 to test stuff a lot, they're porting Steampipe back from newer versions of Source where they already know the system works rather than implementing it now in a totally untested form
