And to all those who asked, sure if you want.
Enjoy the plastic BBQ.
Thanks, it smells good.
ubuntu is not that hard to set up. if you want something challenging, go with arch linux. a wise man once said
There's a much easier way. Ask Tentu to do it for us.
By the way, no one knows yet what the promo is, right?
By the way, no one knows yet what the promo is, right?
Word around is that its another tuxxy.
So would you mind doing it for me then? You hate everyone, but me less so obviously.
Word around is that its another tuxxy.
Eh, my bet's still on a Tux medal to show off how much of a Linux "fan" you are.
Eh, my bet's still on a Tux medal to show off how much of a Linux "fan" you are.
I'm thinking its a penguin pin. Or a penguin hat.
Anyway, let's not be too optimistic about it.
It will be the counterpart to the Earbuds
why would you need to download tf2 again, just copy it over from the other partition
Wouldn't the Linux version of TF2 use different files to the Windows version? Like how you can't run a PS2 game on an Xbox.
Oh. Nevermind, i tri booted mine.
Ooooh. Derp. Wellp, as far as i've tried on this thing, i keep getting soft lockup on the cpu [editline]14th February 2013[/editline]
Wouldn't the Linux version of TF2 use different files to the Windows version? Like how you can't run a PS2 game on an Xbox.
Yes, it uses different files
You could use Wine to run it.
You could use Wine to run it.
But then it wouldn't count as logging in with the official Steam for Linux client. I think.
Probably.
Nevermind i'll just do a dualboot and save the time
Wouldn't the Linux version of TF2 use different files to the Windows version? Like how you can't run a PS2 game on an Xbox.
the bulk of tf2 comes from it's gcf's, which I'm pretty sure would be interchangeable
I'll be using Fedora to get this Linux promo myself then.
