Better to start doing some flexing practices if you really want to find out.

Is Linux promo real and available? In that case it would be cool to know how to set a virtual os.
What is with everyone talking about Linux anyway?

Pretty much. I'd try to install Fedora or Ubuntu but I'm such a lazy ass.

Not too sure, I looked up an answer and got this

Hi there,
The good news is you don't have to create a new partition.
Ubuntu 8.10 (aka Intrepid Ibex) includes a handy utility called WUBI which creates a large file on your existing Windows partition (or any other existing partition) and uses it as a "virtual hard drive" on which Ubuntu is installed.
Download Ubuntu 8.10, this includes WUBI on the disk, just pop the CD in while you are already in windows, the WUBI installer should appear. This guides you through the process and it is pretty much idiot proof!
It will give you a menu that appears when you turn on the machine, which gives you the choice of booting into Windows or Ubuntu.
If you like, at any point you can simply remove Ubuntu by booting into Windows and uninstalling it just as you would any other Windows application.
Also, if you decide you want to keep Ubuntu, you have the choice of transferring Ubuntu onto its own partition which will give a slight increase in performance as there is no virtual drive emulation.
I hope that helps. For more infor on wubi see [snip]
Note you don't need to download it as it is included on the Ubuntu 8.10 CD.
Yet another option would be to download wubi from the link above, it will download the installation CD and install ubuntu as described above with the benefit that you don't need to burn a CD :)

Could be wrong since Ubuntu has updated their software.

I plan to install ubuntu on my second hard drive, and some classmates suggested me to disconnected the one with the windows partition so it won't fuck the boot menu, but I'm too lazy
Well you can always install Linux to an USB.
I wanna get that Tux item, sure, but...
I'm kinda scared of fucking my PC six ways from sunday by trying to get Linux onto it. Deathly afraid, even.
Hell, when the earbuds for macs came around i just borrowed my old roommate's Mac for a few minutes then put it back. Bam, earbuds.
I can't do that this time around, though.
