I wanna get that Tux item, sure, but... I'm kinda scared of fucking my PC six ways from sunday by trying to get Linux onto it. Deathly afraid, even. Hell, when the earbuds for macs came around i just borrowed my old roommate's Mac for a few minutes then put it back. Bam, earbuds. I can't do that this time around, though.
Do you have an old machine that still runs? Salvage it and put Linux on it, I'm sure you'll survive without having Wndows95 on that relic. You technically don't even need to boot up TF2, just get SAM or one of the item managers, they'll spoof TF2 to Steam, and you'll recieve any promos that you were supposed to get when logging in (unless you need to do in-game actions, in which case you'd be screwed).
Sega all star racing transformed got patched, anyone wants to play online?
i have my school laptop but im p sure i cant put linux on it think id be able to get linux working on it with a usb?

I might have to risk it, honestly. If it fucks up, well, i only have myself to blame.
I was just planning on installing ubuntu on a partition. Please let my TF2 backup work. I don't wanna re-download 10+ gigs for a penguin

Anyone know of any nice active TF2 servers, pref. with alltalk and a little bit of micspam? I'm missing the older FP TF2 servers :(
A picture of the Tux item, http://cdn.steampowered.com/v/gfx/clusters/sale_linux_release/ce79c8d1/engie_tux_english.png?t=1360823372
Ok good, the item's just a penguin. Thought it'd be something I'd want. Though, I might actually check out running Ubuntu. Heard good things about it.

Since I'm retarded i iwll need help with this i have two hard drives one with Windows 7, and another with just some files on it , i want to install ubuntu or debian on the second one, but like I said earlier, I have been told that distros can fuck the windows boot menu and i want to avoid this Or maybe create a virtual machine and run tf2 on text mode
You can keep the GCF's as it uses the same ones on Linux, except for the binaries which it'll have to redownload.
Wonderful. This is gonna be easy.
There's this one-of-the-best-games-you-will-ever-get-the-chance-to-play on sale. ONLY 2 EUSDR So get it while it is so cheap. Actually, it is worth like 50 dollars. The guy is just generous enough to put the normal price at 7 EUSDR. Just in case you're reading this and not typing "intrusion 2" furiously in store's search box, you supposed to buy this game at one point in your life. It is the very meaning of your existence. So stop reading please.
Sadly, i don't have any that would allow that. I might have to risk it, honestly. If it fucks up, well, i only have myself to blame.
Same here mate. You can always do what I'm thinking, let a person you know from here make it instead of you and then change your account's password.
Same here mate. You can always do what I'm thinking, let a person you know from here make it instead of you and then change your account's password.
Yeah...now to find someone
Actually, I have bought two extra copies of Intrusion 2. Two of you just might get lucky, assuming they happen to hit one of the colorful icons in the bottom right corner of this reply. I'll declare the winners sooner or later. Probably sooner.
I was told I might not be able to run agmes with wubi shit
Yeah, that, yep, fedora is better
I'm actually installing ubuntu, i had a rewritable disc lying around that i could burn.
I'm not gonna bother getting the Tux. Looks pretty shit imo.
Earbuds look shit too.
I want to get the Tux since it's cute and like to collect items I can get for free.
Club Penguin up in this motherfucker
Glorious purple republic! I found a guide http://www.linuxbsdos.com/2012/07/23/dual-boot-ubuntu-12-04-and-windows-7-on-a-computer-with-2-hard-drives/ As Soon as I read that you have to manually create the directories i was like 2nah" but it doesn't look as tiresome as the debian ones from console :v:
So I can just install and boot Ubuntu from a USB? Without having to mess with my Windows? Please help I am not good at computer
If you're not good at it or don't feel comfortable with it, then don't.
