My friends are hilarious.
I've been trying to download ubuntu for a while now. My download speed has been pretty fast, which helps because the filesize is 750mb.
However, it seems the man checking my house's power meter has a grudge against me and turns the power off 30 seconds before it's done.
He's done it twice.
Guess I'll wait a bit.
I'll probably bug one of my friends to use his Linux computer to get the Penguin (Unless I don't feel lucky)...only time will tell.
Oh and I got my valentines by getting Half-Life 3 screenshots

I got Ubuntu for Tux and just out of general curiousity, and then it wouldn't let me connect to a wireless network. I'm going to try it on a Virtual Box since I had it booted from a CD.
Copying the gfc files worked, download jumped from 30 MB to 9 GB
this saved me a lot of time, and the linux client runs really well, i wish the windows client was like this

Just use wubi, it's a 2 mb executable which will do almost everything for you, even download the kubunto iso. in other news I'm 25 minutes away from my silly penguin misc

Installed Steam.

And it all kinda went downhill from there. So I'm giving that up because I can't into simple things.
