Need some help running TF2 on Ubuntu. I installed it and it gave me an error saying "Could not find required OpenGL entry point 'glColorMaskIndexedEXT'! Either your video card is unsupported, or your OpenGL driver needs to be updated". It ran fine on windows :(

So basically, my friend has a little problem. His Team Fortress 2 takes ages to load a map, so basically he waits around 10 minutes for a map to load, then he comes in-game plays for 2 minutes and the map already changes and thus the cycle repeats itself. His specs are: - Intel Dual Core Pentium 2.1 Ghz - 3 Gb of ram - NVIDIA GTS 250 with latest drivers possible He has defragmented the hard drive and game files within steam. He also tried deleting the entire Team Fortress 2 folder again, with no success. I'm clueless about this..so if anyone can help, it would be MUCH appreciated.

Okay what the fuck The steam overlay won't work in game and TF2 won't launch and is throwing a "Registry is in use by another process" error at me when I launch it If I restart steam, the overlay is fine, and I can launch tf2. Until I play another game, or relaunch tf2.
