I still say they made their biggest mistake by pissing off the homebrew community instead of embracing (PC) or ignoring (Nintendo) them. Homebrew is the only reason people gave a shit about the PSP, besides Monster Hunter.
This new console will likely be primarily aimed at making unofficial software thoroughly impossible, and little else of any worth. They're bleeding a lot of money and getting desperate.

If the rumours are right, PS4 will be the worst shit ever created. For me PS3 has years of living and I hope we can still have good games for it even if PS4 it's announced.

I'm not saying their company will fail. I'm saying that their gaming division has made far too many poor choices to maintain the reputation that the PS1/2 built. Reputation + Delivery = Sales
Thinking it will kill the company is silly. All I'm saying is that it's come to a point where Sony's making significantly more from TVs than from PS3s. It was the total opposite with the PS2.

Seems like so far my suspicions are confirmed on games being crippled by memory limitations. What I see of the next Killzone they're showing looks like the old one but with more shaders.
Texture resolution looks slightly better and physics are nice (since they're done on the GPU), but overall it still looks very much like a video game. They went hugely overboard on the shaders.
