there are single unusual hats they sell for that much every day and have been since the day unusuals existed, I'm not even kidding
You know, the connection between TF2 and Gunpoint is a lot deeper than just this one hat.
The guy who made it - Tom Francis - is the very same guy who wrote a [url=http://www.pentadact.com/2008-05-31-team-fortress-2-unlockable-ideas/]blog post[/url] about neat weapon ideas for TF2 back in 2008, most of which made it into the game in some form. He gave us some controversial weps like gunslinger, wrangler and axtinguisher, but if it weren't for him spies wouldn't be able to see enemy health, there would be no your eternal reward nor reserve shooter (which he only intended for soldier).
I wonder why doesn't eviction notice work like he intended it to, knocking people away on hit. It'd be like airblast for heavy, send someone flying then finish them off with family business or tomislav. Oh, did I just put synergy in that set?
