The hell IS that effect anyway? I've seen is around, but never found out what it is because it's indescribable.

I find it odd how a Pyro would put lipstick on before putting her mask on. For one, it covers the lipstick up anyway, and for two, it's gonna get all smudged after a while sweating under all the asbestos and latex. Pyro doesn't strike me as a particularly vain person either seeing as it's quite happy to wear a boot on its head. I like her practical hairbun though.

While I do agree with ya, I dont see any problem with that female sniper, i mean she looks pretty much like sniper except she's a girl. And sniper is pretty hot, so it only makes sense to make the girl sniper also attractive, right? :v:

They have some (pretty subtle) similarities in the face (except for the last one, that's just completely made up) but are otherwise rather "prettified".
I prefer designs that stick closer to the original like this:
