Why so many "dumb" ratings? I find this pretty hilarious since BLU team is always attacking.
I'm guessing mostly because it's from Nerf Now.
I'm guessing mostly because it's from Nerf Now.
Imo Nerf Now's actually gotten better as it's gone along, started out pretty terrible with far too much sexual over/undertones and kinda like CAD in that there was pretty much no joke at all 90% of the time but now it's actually hitting more often than it misses with the humour.
Before I go back to lurking, I'm gonna drop a request This, with Scout and Heavy

Does SFM even have a high enough framerate setting for that? Nearly every video or gif I see made in SFM is at most 30, usually 24. Suppose you could just speed it up.

This would look way better at 60. Why the fuck does Youtube not allow video at 60fps? If you try to upload it they just decrease it to 30 and give it really jarring half-ass motion blur. If bandwidth or server space is a concern (since the time limit was completely lifted... It's not), just make it HD only or something, or limit 60Hz video to 10 minutes.
This would look way better at 60. Why the fuck does Youtube not allow video at 60fps?
No they don't, they only read 1 frame out of two
Wait, they just skip frames? That's kinda lazy... Why do that if the end result almost always suffers? Bandwidth and server space aren't excuses for them anymore. Also, do they still do that one thing where the audio is delayed two frames? I might've just gotten used to it through exposure alone. Truth be told, Max, I'd love to see Money at 60Hz. Really nice fluid motion and choreography that just gets downscaled.
Wait, they just skip frames? That's kinda lazy...
How is that lazy? That's pretty much the only clean way to downscale from 60 to 30 I don't think the end result suffers, really. There are a few 60fps flash videos out there and there's something that really bugs me about them; you're much more sensitive to playback hitches with them (and that's something that happens frequently, at least to me). 30 is really enough at the moment.

(GPU accelerated) HTML5 video also does high framerate very well. Wish Youtube would standardize it instead of making it an option. Would certainly convince people to get better browsers already. Flash can be pretty bad at anything above 30 either way, I've noticed. It tends to jitter when any HTML or Java elements update around or behind it, even beneath fullscreen video. Ech.
I can't stand working with anything but 60. I just feel a lot more in control of what I'm doing than if I was at 30. I mean 30 leaves a whole half second of time where something could potentially go wrong. Even if youtube doesn't support it for some reason...
I wanted to get creative so I drew a few of the TF2 classes as primates. Gonna do the other ones later.
Standardized 60FPS? Console manufacturers would never go for that. But still; 60 is usually way better than 30, unless you want some kind of pseudo-cinematic experience like what filmmakers do with their 24FPS films. But for high-speed gaming and having a smoother experience, 60 is a decent place to start. I dunno how many hertz my monitor is, but I'm sure it's a fair bit above 60; is 120Hz the average refresh rate for monitors nowadays? Turns out my monitor is a 60Hz one; I feel somewhat behind the times.
Standardized 60FPS? Console manufacturers would never go for that.
Dunno about that. The recent Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance showed quite clearly that games can look great and run at a constant 60fps even on current consoles. It's all a matter of those games getting optimized to the point where it's actually possible, which sadly many developers are too lazy to do, opting to be "cinematic" at 24-30 because it's easier.
It's a terrible thing when 30FPS is the industry standard because of lazy development practices.
Not to forget that 60 fps is the standard in game industries since the end of the SNES era.
Not to forget that 60 fps is the standard in game industries since the end of the SNES era.
I think Nintendo could gain a huge edge on their competition by making all first-party titles (read: a third of the console's library) 60fps. Not just some Nintendo-made games, ALL of them. There are an increasing number of people out there who swear to the fact that no matter how good a 24fps game looks, it still looks like tripe shown alongside a somewhat less pretty one at 60.

I appreciate the fact it's both commendably accurate and not overly sexualized like some others. Honcho's Headgear is also a nice touch.

I noticed a lack of Warhammer in Gmod and SFM videos, but then i noticed recently that they're returning, why did they have a period of disappearance and why are they making a comeback?
