Apparently they removed the Lollichop from the Mann Co Store according to the wiki. The question is why though?
I can't imagine any sensible reason to nerf the Phlog in MvM when you're already removing something that's really useful by using it to begin with: airblast.
following that logic, lets asume they'll nerf the loose cannon next because "its too effective".
Why I don't see nobody here talking about the most important thing about this update.
1 - Added avatars into Votekick menu.
2 - Hardcoded player movement so nobody can pass the 520Hu/s cap.
3 - Broke all public TF2 cheats.
4 - Fixed the reflected Cow Mangler critical shots.
Phlog always getting picked on.

It probably happened when they added the Ham Shank to the store.
Either way, I sent Eric an email asking about it. If it were unintentional, which I assume is true, he's now aware of it.
Did some testing to figure out the new Phlog changes. Seems to be almost exactly 1200 points of damage against robots, or 3000 points of damage against tanks, to fill up the Mmmph bar. (compare to 255 points against players)
yep, they nerfed it hard
it was our tf2 equivalent to the blitz weapons in SMNC.
why did it had tobe nerfed, it did its job well :c

Blitz weapons?

yikes
i agree that it was a tad overpowered in MVM but now it's nearly useless
This is why we have the Beta, dammit.
Actually, I don't know why we have the Beta, dammit.

If it was gonna get nerfed so hard, they should have made it not use ammo like the other Grordbort guns

Well over the years the tf2 team seems to get shittier and shittier at balancing so I honestly am not surprised.
i like being tactical and switching out between flamethrower and phlog when playing pyro in mvm, depending on whether there's a tank present or not.
is there still even a point in that anymore?
The nerf would have been a good decision if they had transformed the overpoweredness of the Phlog into an upgrade, "mmpphh filling speed" or something like that.
But that would require creative thought on their part
tanks are the most boring and annoying part of mvm
i am a little mad they nerfed it
They totally need to add in some actual artillery on those Tanks
Or add in that Spider-Tank thing

I was hoping that they only nerfed it a little bit, like 500 HP. But nope.
meanwhile touching a cabinet or shop still resets phlog charge
dummm
Fixed a bug that allowed level 3 mini-sentries in Mann Vs. Machine mode
Can anyone confirm if giving the Engineer-bot the "mod wrench builds minisentry" attribute still allows them to make Level 3 Mini-Sentries (which I hope they can)? Because I can't start up Team Fortress 2 at all...
yes it does, that was an exploit on the human side
bot sentries are tasked to immediately level up whatever they are

Ftfy
Much point in asking them to take a long, careful look at the nerf, and maybe undo a bit of it?
Or would they simply not respond as usual?

Chances of the latter happening: 100%
Did a bit of MvM with the Phlog.
Bleah. It's not the most horrible weapon to use now, but it ranks up there. Filling it on tanks seems to take a measure of time best measured in centuries, maybe millennia, unless you get crit boosted by a canteen, buff or medic.
Defeats the whole bloody purpose of having a weapon that gives you crits on demand.
I am secretly glad they nerfed it.
Because those Russian kids, who thinks Phlog is useful everywhere, and can't even use it, trying to AIRBLAST robots...
thats probably a terrible reason to be glad about a terrible nerf.
both due to the reason and because you know, the nerf itself being terrible.
Sometimes a proper airblast can save your base.
But that's a diffirent topic to discuss
