I find it kind of interesting that they haven't "officially" teased or otherwise mentioned this 15-minute TF2 short. I wonder if it isn't just sort of an internal exercise in SFM experimentation, with the mindset that if it gets completed and is worthy of showing to the public, they will, but its debut is in no way set in stone. Apart from that, they haven't really provided us with much to speculate on this year.

We pretty much have no leads on what 2013 has in store (or for what we have seen so far, what it has NOT had in store). No major updates yet, this is disappointing.

Looking back it's pretty obvious they did that since they knew it would be a longer then normal time before they would be able to put out a major update.
