Didn't want to bring the bad news, but CoH 2 was pushed to June.
Also, I just checked the Steam page, it's been months and the second tier pre-purchase rewards hasn't been reached yet.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
[sp]I seriously can't believe this, the Combat medic's crusher cap is my favorite Medic hat, and i've waited so much, now this.[/sp]
You know, with all this talk about how SteamPipe will make everything better, I can't help but hear the voice of Bastion's narrator being increasingly insistent that it'll make everything be okay.

I actually find it useful for when I'm on mobile.

honestly this whole "pre-order" tier thing is still so stupid, i'd much rather have all that shit under the base offer, along with xcom maybe being the only tier.

Can't you feel the Hype about it? :v:
Can't you feel the Hype about it?
hype for generally ugly promos that look more or less stupid?
Seriously i would actually cared if they had used the one made by Rain*
I personally only feel that its necessay to give updates when it reaches or passes a new tier not something along the lines of "hey guys its 24 hrs later and it went up 3~6%" :/
Also, why are preorders for the game so slow? It's one of the most promising looking titles in a while.
tux shirts
what, i didn't know those were there
Also, why are preorders for the game so slow? It's one of the most promising looking titles in a while.
Doesn't seem to be that way, just that the preorder goals require huge numbers of purchases.
Nobody is getting my jokes lately, time to stop trying to being funny or end every single post with a :v:
You know it's a slow year for TF2 when people care about crappy promos.
Yes he does
Why? Is it really that hard for you to check the steam page if you want an update?
I find it kind of interesting that they haven't "officially" teased or otherwise mentioned this 15-minute TF2 short. I wonder if it isn't just sort of an internal exercise in SFM experimentation, with the mindset that if it gets completed and is worthy of showing to the public, they will, but its debut is in no way set in stone.
Apart from that, they haven't really provided us with much to speculate on this year.
Well Gabe just kind of mentioned it once in an interview, saying that they're working on it. Chances are high that they're still just in the beginning stages of the short, and they won't mention it again for at least a few months.
Why would you buy something before you even know it's good?

Where were you last year? We got absolutely nothing interesting for the first 6 months, i mean yeh the workshop items were sometimes alright, but otherwise than that..

We got the Cozy Camper, best item in the game amirite?
Why would you buy something before you even know it's good?
In my case I would be pre-ordering Infinite to avoid spoilers and all indications lead to it being a story I would want to experience. Plus when you consider the developer your not taking as big of a risk as say a licensed game or new IP.
I just hope Valve continues their quality-over-quantity policy regarding weapons this year.
I just hope Valve continues their quality-over-quantity policy regarding weapons this year.
Despite being a stock reskin - of a weapon many people consider to be vastly inferior to almost all its alternatives - I've had a lot of fun with the lollichop. It just looks amazing and the bit of fiction behind it is somehow very compelling to the point I very much enjoy hitting things with it. (The awesome kill icon with it helps too.)
That said, yeah, I enjoyed most of last year's weapons with unique stats to them and hope the new ones this year will have the same amount of general thought and care put into them.
The best update would be moving TF2 to a newer version of Source with optimizations

I consider Pyrovision enough to make it not a reskin.
Though I'd love for them to turn its paintability on.

...right???
I highly doubt it. Snort.
Oh you guys.

2012 and this year (thus far) have been extremely slow. We may have gotten a long-awaited major update in 2012, but it doesn't come close to the amount of content we received in 2011.
