Speaking of buds and such I hope they make the mac version of steam not randomly crash in the next patch. Every time I copy paste there's a chance that it's going to break and it can break in the background with no input on my part. That + mac steampipe would be great.

Whats the hold-up on releasing Stranges in the Steam Market? It's probably the 2nd or 3rd largest variety of weapons after Unique (and maybe Vintage) and there is a huge market for them.

Turns out there is a new bug (or exploit?) where you can load 3 rockets in the Beggar Bazooka, hold them indefinitely due to reload animation cancelling and then fire them all at once without worrying about overloading. And Valve is away on break [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/XCFWtmp.gif[/IMG]

Empty your ammo reserves of all but 3, keep them loaded, fire at the next target, do massive damage, finish them off with the reserve as they're in midair, and laugh if you feel like it.

This sounds just like an exploit you could do with the Bazooka back when it first came out - hold M2 and let go of M1 to stop loading rockets, then let go of M2 to fire whenever. It actually made it worthwhile in normal TF2. :v:

Not my video by the way.[/QUOTE] The Revolver glitch looked so familiar, I assumed it was the M1 + M2 + R bug that would be used to make the annoying noise from the Blutsauger, and thought, "did he really need a script for that?" Of course, I did try it out, and it wasn't the case. But I do hope this gets fixed, it's ridiculous...

Though, I feel that, if for some reason Valve were to actually remove the overloading attribute, they'd probably have to add a little bit of a nerf to it. Maybe like a bit of a slower reload speed, slower firing speed, or even just adding 1 or 2 more degree deviation (this I'd prefer).

I can only hope that this summers big update will have weapon re-balancing like Pyromania last year changed around the Crit-Cola, GRU, etc.
This could be more obscure than it looks, like that supposed Bazzar Bargain glitch.

I can only hope that this summers big update will have weapon re-balancing like Pyromania last year changed around the Crit-Cola, GRU, etc.[/QUOTE] So wait, if we'll get a second Heavy Update, would that mean we would get a reskin Primary and reskin Melee for the Heavy, both which takes you into Robovision, an underwhelming Heavy shotgun (I don't see the Family Business as one), a pair of robo-goggles that also takes you into Robovision, and the Demoman gets a well-rounded full item set that contains a Primary weapon and a Secondary weapon, a Pyro Flamethrower (that is the only one that gets added from whatever item set it came from, which means excluding the set's Secondary and Melee weapons), and a Spy item set containing a knife and a not-so-useful Revolver (and excluding a sapper that was meant to be part of the item set)? [sup]And possibly a new gamemode that will never be looked at, again?[/sup]

I actually really like the Beggar's Bazooka it's one of the best additions we've gotten. My only criticism is that it could serve to be a little less mindless in some cases but I think that would only end up doing more harm then good so it's best to just leave it alone. It's a great example of a weapon that has some interesting properties and allows you to do some interesting stuff you couldn't do with the stock/other launchers.

No really, the bazooka is not underpowered. Really it's not. Situational yes, underpowered, no. I'd say in any situation you have players bunched up it excels far more than the stock. I haven't used the stock since I've started using the bazooka and honestly see no reason to. The divebombing aspect allows you to deal around 280 burst damage to anything in a small area and the faster initial reload allows you to keep doing sustained damage after that. If you're defending a payload you can jump to it from the other side of the map and clear all the players. If you're attacking in the same gamemode you can jump onto a roof where the enemy team has a sentry and multiple players and kill the sentry (and likely the engie) with your 3 loaded rockets. In a competitive mode like highlander, there is practically nothing the medic can do to avoid being killed by 3 rockets being shot in rapid succession by a target moving at high speed. It was actually banned in etf2l highlander for this reason. I don't feel like it's an underpowered weapon in the slightest, it's really very good. If you aren't constantly divebombing with it or are for some reason trying to use a shotgun or banner with it though, it's very sub-par. It's a situational weapon, but you create the situations that make you do well with it because it allows you to fly. As to the whole testinglol getting unbanned scenario, I don't see that happening He says Max banned him because "He didn't like his attitude". I only have his word on that but if it's true I don't see him being unbanned any time soon. He's also pretty pissed off about it, I don't see him begging for one either.
