this thread's tl;dr: nothing

i wonder what's in those 12 gigs~
Oh fuck I'm gonna have to download 12 gigs? My internet can't even handle downloading Brutal Legend.

Q. Will I have to download the entire game again? No. A one-time conversion process will occur, which will take a bit longer than the usual download. You should expect your computer to do a lot of disk work, and you will need enough free hard drive space for about two full copies of the game. After the conversion process is complete, TF should take around 1GB less space on your hard disk than before.
It uses the optimizing files window type of way. When I updated TF2 Beta thats what it did, I also lost 10gb. :/
Wow, look at all those posts, something amazing must have happened. Nope, just two rejects posting yes and no, wonderful. Remind me again about Steampipe, how does it work with regards to mods or something? I changes them in some way, yes?
i wonder what's in those 12 gigs~
You fools! It has been under our noses this whole time! Look at his profile picture! It's so obvious now...
my tf2 isnt working guys im scared :suicide:
Steam has finished downloading Team Fortress 2. Okay, what.
Steam has finished downloading Team Fortress 2. Okay, what.
The fuck is going on? "Preparing to launch Team Fortress 2" has been stuck on my screen for about three minutes. This only happens when updates come, usually pretty big ones. Could it be?... EDIT: nope, it's nothing
It's happening?
Maybe it's just my steam acting up. Someone say yes.
TF2 has become self aware, downloading itself onto your computer in increasingly larger sizes to eventually cripple us.
The fuck is going on?
There was no real update today, they pushed out all of the SteamPipe changes but didn't make them publicly available. Then they rolled everything back, so who knows what they're doing...
TARDIS, who once claimed they released an update a few minutes before they actually did, doesn't know what they're doing. Great.
chances are they don't even know what they did. Someone pushed a button early. However, they took it back, so just restart your steam and be fine 99% of all updates come with a HLDS email, nothing is going on
Curious, has anybody noticed Steam chat lagging a bit in the past few minutes? I'm suddenly getting messages in groups rather than when they were actually sent.
Still no word on this? I'm tempted to research it further...
I don't want to turn this into a platform warrior thing or whatever, but the dialer and browser barely work on my android. Also the software is java-based, so you'd have to install all sorts of libraries to make basic stuff work. It really isn't worth the effort.

Unless we use SteamCMD already...) I wouldn't be surprised if there was a few day early early warning.
Im just going to hope its the update. rub your strange jags everyone
What is with this strange jag thing
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a few day early early warning.
they said they would
i'm online? anyone else?
What is with this strange jag thing
During a major event a guy posted a pic of a strange jag, everyone started buying strange jags because they thought they were useful for something.. Everything started with this (scroll)
It's probably happening later today.
It was stated TF2 would be last for the Steam pipe conversion. Other Source engine games are to come first.
You know, I have 9 GBs free on my hdd... I should probably, erm, go uninstall a few things before this steampipe update goes down..
Seems like a few people forgot about the "We're planning on releasing TF last." phrase :v:
Seems like a few people forgot about the "We're planning on releasing TF last." phrase :v:
in the same day
mine launched fine... what is the best download region?
If there's one promo I want, it'd be Hotline Miami. Just think, Scout'd get a Bunny/Cougar mask, Heavy'd get Jackets jacket, (the B symbol on the top right and maybe a different color), And Spy would get that mole mask that turns out the lights in the game. Considering Hotline Miami 2 is officially announced, It could happen.
