If it still works give one to me. [editline]t[/editline] It's not in his backpack anymore, but apparently it still exists somewhere. Who's got it?
If it still works give one to me.
And me.
So, is it still possible? If it is, I'd go full stock Heavy, ditch any unlocks and hats, only to see people being confused why my Minigun sounds different.
the sound effects are only for giant robots, it says it right there
"visuals_mvm_boss" { "use_visualsblock_as_base" "visuals" "sound_double_shot" "MVM.GiantHeavyGunFire" "sound_burst" "MVM.GiantHeavyGunFire" "sound_special1" "MVM.GiantHeavyGunWindUp" "sound_special2" "MVM.GiantHeavyGunWindDown" "sound_special3" "MVM.GiantHeavyGunSpin" }

"visuals_mvm_boss"
like i said before, that guy with the deflector is just the proud owner of a stock minigun that shoots green bullets instead of yellow ones. that's literally the only difference.
Breaking News: Valve has gone on a viral banning spree today after players of the game Team Fortress 2 discovered a Item Scheme exploit that would allow the player to get any item that they desire. No word from Valve yet on the mass banning or the Item Scheme exploit. We will report any more details once they become available. More news at 11.
like i said before, that guy with the deflector is just the proud owner of a stock minigun that shoots green bullets instead of yellow ones. that's literally the only difference.
In a game where people will pay upwards of $1000 for blue text instead of yellow text, do you think many would care?
the sound effects are only for giant robots, it says it right there
"visuals_mvm_boss" { "use_visualsblock_as_base" "visuals" "sound_double_shot" "MVM.GiantHeavyGunFire" "sound_burst" "MVM.GiantHeavyGunFire" "sound_special1" "MVM.GiantHeavyGunWindUp" "sound_special2" "MVM.GiantHeavyGunWindDown" "sound_special3" "MVM.GiantHeavyGunSpin" }

"visuals_mvm_boss"
like i said before, that guy with the deflector is just the proud owner of a stock minigun that shoots green bullets instead of yellow ones. that's literally the only difference.
Actually, it's probably not that it requires you to be the Giant Heavy, but rather, you would have to be playing Mann vs. Machine at all to have the sound effects. Considering that these:
"MVM.MoneyVanish" { "channel" "CHAN_STATIC" "volume" "1.000" "pitch" "PITCH_NORM" "soundlevel" "SNDLVL_90dB" "wave" ")mvm/mvm_money_vanish.wav" } "MVM.PlayerUpgraded" { "channel" "CHAN_STATIC" "volume" "0.25" "pitch" "PITCH_NORM" "soundlevel" "SNDLVL_NORM" "wave" ")mvm/mvm_bought_upgrade.wav" } "MVM.PlayerBoughtIn" { "channel" "CHAN_STATIC" "volume" "0.5" "pitch" "PITCH_NORM" "soundlevel" "SNDLVL_90dB" "wave" "mvm/mvm_bought_in.wav" } "MVM.PlayerUsedPowerup" { "channel" "CHAN_STATIC" "volume" "0.13" "pitch" "PITCH_NORM" "soundlevel" "SNDLVL_90dB" "wave" ")mvm/mvm_used_powerup.wav" }
Are in the same manifest as those Deflector sounds.
I wonder why the sounds and attributes aren't set in the schema. It seems like it would be easier to organize if they were

Considering that these: Are in the same manifest as those Deflector sounds.
Meaning its sounds could possibly work if you're just playing MvM and happen to be using an item that matches the Deflector's ID?
I wonder why the sounds and attributes aren't set in the schema. It seems like it would be easier to organize if they were
Because Valve.
so how does one go about blocking the schema site?
It's mentioned in the Pastebin paste.
except the stock minigun, stock rocket launcher, and original have the same code as the deflector, and they don't use giant sounds when they're being carried by a player/standard bot
Then the only theory I can think up of is that having Attributes MiniBoss on the robot makes them use the sound clips, even if you were to scale them down to the normal player size.
Major Update Speculation Thread v19: The Deflector
cheater's lament gogogogo but seriously they need to reissue it.
cheater's lament gogogogo but seriously they need to reissue it.
why?
why?
no reason other than the fact that I want one. My heavy loadout will benefit from it.
I never received my cheaters lament and steam support would not grant me one, so i wouldn't mind another chance to get one
still wonder why they gave out another at the time of mannconomy
I got a cheater's lament and I used the idle program (lost my first hat I got ever because I got it through it, a pickelhaube). I thought they just gave a second wave out to everyone who was around when the first was given out.
We're in some weird stage where we have everything to speculate about and nothing to speculate about.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/vKgEMXE.jpg[/t] if only.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/vKgEMXE.jpg[/t] if only.
Sunbeams :v
Not asking for a Dome Shine with Sunbeams Russians, lemme tell yuh.
also it doesn't work on the deflector so it is patched. [t]http://i.imgur.com/XaFHgZH.jpg[/t]
what does it say? and does it work with anything else?
what does it say? and does it work with anything else?
I tried it. What happens is that it asks if you're sure, then it just goes back to your inventory once you click "Yep, I'm sure!" with the nametag still unused and the Deflector not there. At least, that's what happens when I do it. [editline]*[/editline] Yeah, Hng described it much clearer.
It lets you apply the nametag and does everything that you'd normally do, but the item does not appear in your backpack and you keep the nametag/desc tag.
I can see the next update notes already -Added Cheaters lament (slight return) -Added steam pipe support -Added promo items -Updated localization files
Messing around in the schema is pretty fun. It's a shame changing
"Store Purchase Promotion Package"' "loot_list" "store_promotion_loot_list"
to
"Store Purchase Promotion Package"' "loot_list" "sandvich_promo_package_loot_list"
doesn't work :v:
