a one off secondary or melee would be nice and probably not hard to balance or make interesting.
They made sappers easier to add and submit now too. I wonder if they have plans for more of those (I hope so)

11/10 would speculate forever.
before we get a Heavy chainsaw, we need a Sniper crossbow!
That has to be one of the biggest omissions in a class's arsenal ever.

Yep, completely agree, but I'd also like to see that slingshot added that was posted in here a while back; it uses the same animations as the huntsman, all valve would have to do is change the stats (wouldn't want wall-pinning with a rock, lol). It'd be a good way to have a modified version of the huntsman (stats wise), while giving us a whole new look (ie, not just a slightly different looking bow).
For a crossbow, the charge mechanic wouldn't work, so I'd rather see you have to stop, use your foot on the foot-bar-thing, and prime the crossbow slowly, but then be able to run around with it primed thereafter with no downsides. Slow prime, but full power huntsman power thereafter. If it really needs an additional downside, make it so after leaving it primed for like 20-30 seconds causes your crossbow to break, requiring you to die or go back to respawn for a new one. Most people wouldn't be that stupid, but it would require you to actually shoot sooner or later, rather than just camping.
I'm seriously pissed when Valve says that they have no time to implement the Skullgirl's promos fro their kickstarter, yet they then go off and implement an Oculus Rift Hat and Reddit hats. I mean really Valve?

Meh, I guess that would work for his melee, but it would need to be a somewhat goofy unrealistically large knife, we don't need any COD kiddies yelling about knife kills.

Yeah, that hat would have been great for halloween. Maybe when the skullgirls game gets on Steam it'll be a promo.

they probably had all of those planned for awhile.

It was fairly stupid of them to not ask in the first place.:suicide: (WHY GOD, WHY?!)
Regardless, I've said it multiple times that it's more likely we will see a Skullgirls promo when the game actually comes out. It could be that Valve didn't see fit to spend the time to promote a kickstarter campaign that doesn't really have too significant a benefit to them. Promoting the actual games launch would be more mutually beneficial as opposed to just benefiting contributors.
they probably had all of those planned for awhile.
You mean the Reddit Hat needed a plan that was longer than a day?
you think Reddit put together that entire thing in a day?
Maybe speedy gonzales of web design could do it. But chances are it was planned for months.

Doesn't look like the hats took long to make
You guys really underestimate how long things take to make and add to the game.

by comparison, Dota 2 once got 170 items in the game in 2 days.
with a single person at valve working to add them.
:v:
Dota 2 items are pretty much copy and paste, TF2 is a lot harder, its compiler is not the robust item pumping machine Dota 2's is.

robin said they'll do that for tf2, so heres hope

well yeah, i have to admit there's a big difference between the two; the tf2 one can hardly be called functional at all :v:

Or, you know, put a scope on it.

fun fact: the oculus rift code had been in tf2 for over 8 months at the time of VR release

The Reddit hats are still unavailable, right?
This whole thread is going to be banned before Steampipe even makes it here.
All because of the cursed winky face.

The Dota 2 one is really nice, it outputs schema code and everything so it's essentially copy and paste. TF2 could get that too, have a drop down for equip regions and bodygroup settings, a backpack icon tools and whatnot and it could basically be copy and paste also.
I hope the Scorch Shot gets buffed, it's quite useless compared to other secondaries that the pyro has
I think if we're going to buff weapons, tackle the really poor tier ones first, Short Circuit, Chocolate, Razorback, Winger
stuff like that. Lowest of the low tier. The Scorch Shot is mediocre. It's not terrible, but not really that great either.
Quick Fix should be 40% uber rate.
Vaccinator's resistances should be fixed and you should be able to switch during uber.
Would be cool for QF to have Vaccinator's uber system too, 4 ubers.
Quick-Fix would be great if it healed super fast all the time and built up crazy fast ubers. It should be more of a utility Medigun, I love the extra effects it has like holding overheal and medic jumping, but I think they could really far with it being a tool medigun, rather than one based on strategy like the other three.
Yeah, it would be great if it would heal up super quickly, it's one of those things like "Why would I choose super fast healing over invincibility or the ability to dosh out infinite crits?". It should just be a blunt heal beam, hence 'quick-fix'
