Yeah, this. Given everything you said, plus the idea that "friendships will end tomorrow". Within the story, the friendships will end when they get their new weapons.

I think it's a zoom-in of the clip in meet the spy when the heavy shows him a particularly interesting picture of the scout's mother. With one of the intel room maps visible in the background.

This is going to be an epic showdown! Two friends from different backgrounds, now turned mortal enemies by the shadowy organizations that control them!

I know it's a silly game with silly characters and silly explosions but it'd still be kind of sad if they ended up losing their friendship over some new weapons :ohdear:

Anyone have a good idea what they'll get for new weapons? Soldier I'm not sure, hopefully a weapon would a decent skill ceiling
For the Demo I have no idea, he needs a weapon that has great area denial and useless when used offensively and a weapon that helps him when he gets flanked
As I've stated before, the soldier needs a canon on his chest that shoot out maggots.
