I highly recommend this seeing how we wont make any uber textures as this already covers it

no, but you'll need a video card with more memory (1GB recommended).

I wasn't actually convinced of your Lightwarp until i've tested it my own

Yeah me too. It mainly crashes due to a "memory error" (even though I have 4GB of RAM and 1GB Video Card Memory). It used to work only in the TF2 Beta but then after the update it started to crash on map load again... :suicide:
But will compression make it look noticeably worse? (sorry to sound like Im whining)

Just wait for the compressed version of the pack, that will fix the problem.

Yeah, definitely use this one. This one will overlay the uber effect onto the HD textures, so the players won't magically transform and have details changed around (if you can manage to notice them underneath the uber effect in the first place :v:).
It's also a lot better for your performance, even compared to the default Valve uber effect!

The lightwarp is okay, the way Characters look in loadout is because they have some weird lighting over there
And the Sniper hands are supossed to be like that, you can remove them though

Yep, it's just your game graphical settings that make them look like that

well can you see a difference from Low to High?
I'd make everything go High if your PC can handle it, but thats my opinion

i would actually recommend using the pack even if you're playing on very low, since textures look even more like SHIT (due to the horrible DXT compression) there, but they won't with the pack
For Demoman, you should erase the grenade shadows on his armour, like Valve did for the Pyro when they added the tie.
