Will this have much of an impact on my performance? I'm already using Chris' highquality config which is great, but was considering getting this also.

I'm already using Chris' highquality config which is great, but was considering getting this also.[/QUOTE] the performance impact that you get from the textures themselves is minimal — on low-end card, though, they may clog the bus bandwidth a little bit and it results in a frame or two lost on my laptop. the number one thing you'll need for that is video memory, though. I'd recommend a GPU with at least 512mb of RAM, 1GB is best

I find the way it is textured to be better, especially with the edge highlighting. Note on valve's it's less dramatic and in parts more subtle then on yours, the blue/team colours nag me slightly too, but I'm willing to bet the colours look better ingame.

The way I see it, the bomb's so worn and faded looking because it's been sitting in a stockpile waiting to be used until toady.
I actually like the brighter colors. The bombs always did seem a little to dull to me, but that's just my opinion.

The original doesn't really need much improvement but the remade one looks fantastic imo I just think it needs some color tweaking and it'd look great. making the cart dispenser match the real dispenser (except the main color i guess) is reason enough speaking of which, we'll start working on the buildings as soon as sexy fixes us up with the AOs
