what happend to this? are you guys busy with other skin projects?
Nassimo is still working on the HUD, but I dunno about blaholtzen.
Procrastination is something u always have to be prepared to run into.

I feel like I'm doing a "find the differences" puzzle
FYI the project isn't dead, i'm working with demo right now, and there's also been some progress on sniper and medic, as well as a few touches on soldier. I'll post some screenshots of demo later
I cant see improvements . help!

Also, those images are probably outdated.
I remember embarking on this path myself, getting just about complete until I hit the Spy. Getting those suit lines perfect was a pain. But I used simple tools like noise filters and even light fabric/leather texturing to make the overall texture look nicer. Best of luck to you guys.

Why does VALVe do this to me?
I hope if these turn out well, Valve considers rewarding the creators, and possibly accepts their work for a "Mega" high setting (or something).
That and Shugo's Ubercharge skins.

Reminds me of how I've always wanted a 'Highest' texture setting to reflect the now defunct mat_picmap -10.
I also have re-built the BLU Engineer Skin. Since the original one from VALVe ws too blurred.

You can see all the changes I made. Some details I removed since it was from the BETA Engie model.
And a couple fixes. it's not ready yet. Have to fix that yellow that is too much dark and a misplaced detail that I have just found on the glove's finger.

Two things:
1. Could you maybe transparent that eye-rapey background?
2. I like the original yellow a lto better, at least on the hat and the glove.

uh i guess this is cool but what's the point of the medic changes? all it does is make it harder to distinguish between teams + damages the team palette.

How is it harder to distinguish between teams? RED and BLUE gloves, pants and backpacks. And the coats are not dirty brown and baby blue. Much more eye suiting now. Course, it's my opinion.
I personally prefer that blue Medic, and I always use the skin.

Believe it or not, the coat actually doesn't need to be bright blue to do this. I know this because I've been playing with those skins for the past month or so.
Blaholtzen was kind enough to hand me an advance copy of the Medic coats a while back., and between the gloves and the very visible difference in color temperature of the Medic whites, it's easy to ID a friendly or enemy Medic.
I figure that the Medic colour scheme is a bit brighter because Medics are generally more important to pick out in a crowd than other classes.
