Don't worry guys, the project is not ded.
This or oldschool pack, I'm strung between the two.
Looks great but I doubt I could abandon beta skins for these. I really like what you did to the blu medic, I always thought he was too bright. I hope you do the same to the blu soldier.
New spy suit.

-Added shirt cuff & boutton on the suit like the Beta Spy.
-Added clothes effects with the normal map.
-Made the Blu mask less satured.
-Added a striped tie (Optional)
Can't. Hit. Winner. Hard Enough.

My jaw actually dropped when I saw this, so amazingly awesome. I need this in game, now.

Ugh, no no no. You're supposed to use this one:

I was able to predict both of those videos. :v:
Some new fresh modifications by blaholtzen

The colors are taken from the pallet of the team colors.
yes, i made sure the colors matched as many paints as possible, "cream spirit" "team spirit" "operators overalls" "an air of debonair" and "Radigan Conagher Brown"... since paints are imposible to mod i figured it would make sense to make sure it matches them.
The soldier also has a fixed phongmask and I normalmapped the button on the pouch in the back,
as more clearly shown here:

Besides the things hecates fixed on the engie, the ammo pouch is now properly textured on the back and underneath, I still want to do something with the belt buckle though, it doesn't quite make sens to me atm...
Here's heavy

HD normalmap (used to be tiny)
fixed phongmask
tweaked skin-color
fingernails
edge highlights on pouch
color-corrected bullets to match "cream spirit"
gloves, vest, pouch and boots all have the same color/hue.
(probably going to put this color on soldiers gear instead of completely gray)
demo has also been color-corrected (it's mostly so the team yellow things match "cream spirit")
still have lots of things in mind, for example normalmapping and phongmasking more of the details (little things matter)

Just a quick question, how much of an effect are these skins going to have on performance?

I like hebby, the edge highlighting is cool
MUST. HAVE. NAO.
You might want to fix the pics in the OP.
Just a quick question, how much of an effect are these skins going to have on performance?
no idea, I guess it depends on your computer, I have't noticed any changes myself.
each vtf is about 1MB atm, but ic ould probably get it to half that if i compress it more, there might be artifacts then though
but ic ould probably get it to half that if i compress it more
No.
No.
Agreed times abajizillion.
The textures are more than small enough to not impact game performance, plus the fact that TF2 uses mipmaps anyway.
BTW, is there any change of boosting the phong on the gloves of Medic, Engie, and Pyro to reflect that they are made of rubber?
Can we expect another download anytime soon?
No.
ofc, I meant that as an option for those with bad computers, but apparently it isn't needed
BTW, is there any change of boosting the phong on the gloves of Medic, Engie, and Pyro to reflect that they are made of rubber?
yes, that'll be done once i get to their phongmasks

fairly soon yes
ofc, I meant that as an option for those with bad computers, but apparently it isn't needed
Why would someone with a bad computer use this?
derp
ofc, I meant that as an option for those with bad computers, but apparently it isn't needed
I'd appreciate a lower filesize version of this mod, I also thought you meant compress the size of the regular version.

That is what I meant
That is what I meant
Im confused :downs: When you said " but i could probably get it to half that if i compress it more, there might be artifacts then though" I thought you meant compress the high-res version down without giving an option for the highest-res version. I think that's what Agent Fedora and Marier thought too. If you give a lower-res version as an option, that'd be great Blaholtzen

I decided early on that it would be a good idea to include as many options as possible, this will be one of them
I await the next download.
opinions on the belt and buckle?

first one is the new one second is the valves
Seems fine to me.
where's the next download

I like the dark buckle on Valve's. Could you maybe try it as an alternate style or whatever?

Most likely will be optional, I like it too it just doesn't make sense to me
