Frankly, those are just to noisy and cartoony.
The ones I'm doing are really just fancier versions of the defaults.
I am going to have my own personal touches in them though. It's just that anytime I made a stylized explosion, it'd be too hard to see through.
Can you fix the World Model for the Scottish Resistance? 'Cause it has no "Laser Pointer".

It's surprisingly good at freezeframes. The effect was built around how your able to see through the old explosions without trouble, so still being able to get awesome killcams like this is great.

So you know, you have a reason to make another particle video.
I was honestly just going to see if I could make a YTP and a readable particle showcase at the same time.
I just need to think of some good jokes to use... For example, the Demoman sticky jumps so damn hard it propels him into space. A joke like that will also give me a chance to continue my running gag of all the source material having it's own planet. TF2 is literally the Team Fortress logo, hanging in space.
The effects aren't done yet, and frankly I can't think of what else to add for now, so I'm just going to do this and hopefully I'll come up with something else.
Rate me what you want, but I'm 72% sure this will work. There's nothing funnier than the Demoman sticky jumping into a cactus.

It looks like the little black bits from the explosion are hitting an invisible box when they're released. This only looks weird when you're looking at air stickies but it's vaguely annoying.
Otherwise they're looking clean!

Ah I wasn't sure if they did or didn't. It's not as noticeable in the originals if that's the case. Perhaps just a faster fade on the black particles?

It already does and did before as well, new phongmask is better though, you might be able to see that the teeth are a bit shiny
I'll take better screens later, gonna boost the phong too
oh and i forgot to mention I re-copied the handle texture from the equalizer so it wraps around better, and added a subtle gradient so the difference between the green parts make more sense
How much longer until the next pre-release comes out?
I want those textures!
