it always irritated me on the few occasions that im sparkling (MURDERING) stuff in pyroland as pyro (or playing a non medic class for that matter), that i cant tell which team is which when they are gleefully sparkling (DYING A PAINFUL FIREY DEATH) at all, there is almost no difference as the particle is overkill and you cant see what team they are on and possibly what class. it is also sorta kinda difficult to distinguish burning players teams in normal vision. this will help A LOT.
as for pure servers and comp, that is a whole different fucking story
I'm pretty sure that some manifest trickery will make telespam and burningplayer effects work.

Max, the Announce is old hat (and honestly has never looked right) and we can't tell what the fuck Scoutimedies looks like, so it's 1/2 at best.

The only one of these I don't like is the normal red burning effect. It looks like he's got some kind of radioactive red glow going on, rather than burning.

Someone actually requested that I added the teamcolor glow to it and all. And it's already dark orange for the red team and yellowish for the blue team.

I'd like to try it, too. I think I installed it once and it was amazing, but then I had to reinstall TF2 and couldn't get it back. I think it was because he took it down for some reason. Be nice to have it back.

Might be a little late to say, but I think the revamped Sniper would look amazing with a refined "touch of gray" look to his sideburns. If I weren't terrible at texturework I'd apply this myself.
Something kinda like the Medic has going on.

I've been holding on to maskless spy because I don't like how I used ugly workarounds to get HWM on him. I've got proper DMX scripts now, so if I can get around to fixing him up, I will release him proper. I have other things I want to work on first though.
In the future, don't try to offer me hats or "internet cookies" as an incentive to work faster.

It's a shame they don't use a new fire overlay for the player models for pyrovision, really ruins it imo. If fact a new 'HD' one for this project might be a nice idea.

do you mean model overlay or first person view? i think the first person one works well enough, the material one could probably be improved

I think someone said the fire overlay is impossible to replace, the only thing you can do is remove it from the vmts.

Actually it is editable, I've done it before. It's in:
root\tf\materials\Effects\tiledfire\fireLayeredSlowTiled512.vtf
