Could you include all of your TF2 TIP particles in a pack for us?
I use all of them AFAIK, I want to make sure I don't miss any.
They're great <3
I've been doing my best to keep them all in a playlist on Youtube. I think they all have links in the descriptions...
Will the Quick-Fix backpack also be done?
So I decided to give this a go with one of the SFM posters I've made.

It actually does look better, especially with the lack of glare from the eyes! Though, it won't actually be the final version until this texture-improvement project gets a bit further (mainly just wanting to have high-texture for the Rubber Glove Hat).
Why would you use this pack on the HWM SFM models? The HWM models in sfm are in much better graphical quality..?

The sniper's textures are upscaled from 1024 x 512 and despite other classes using higher-res textures they are all still riddled with the same inconsistencies that plagued them in-game.
By the way, SFM-compliant textures can be found here (this version doesn't get enough love):

If you're gonna show off a stormy storm unusual, I'd think that it would look better on a stormy map, like Thunder Mountain or Sawmill.
I just noticed I forgot to post the download for the rocket jump trails.

There. I don't have an icon in me at the moment. I'll try to make one later but you know.

That's not the point I was trying to make...
And besides, the person that I made this picture for actually likes it.

Didn't know there was an SFM verison. Thanks for linking!
Edit: Wait
The TF2 version is pretty much compatible with SFM.
I can't check for examples right now since I moved to Windows 8 and haven't installed SFM yet, but I know the sniper's SFM model is mapped differently on his arms.

His entire texture for the most part is arranged differently.
Probably because they never updated it for the addition of the Sydney Sleeper darts that they randomly stuck on the Sniper's texture
Just a random guess, I never looked

It's still different from the pre-Mannconomy texture. The only difference between that one and the one today is the darts and the removal of the old head texture.
-snip-
This is really awesome. I use this myself in TF2 and SFM and it makes the game look a lot better (especially paired with the cartoon-esque lightwarp), and I really congratulate you for your efforts. However, I do have some questions...
-(Nevermind) I noticed that the texture for the Pyro has the same coloring for the gloves (black with yellow fingertips and wrists), however, the texture for the firstperson view of the Pyro shows the gloves as being completely black. Was this an oversight?
-Are you going to revamp the textures for other characters in TF2, such as HHH, Merasmus, or the robots?
Again, great work!

That's the version with fixed gloves and other edits, it just isn't in the OP at the moment.

Really? I swear I downloaded that... guess i'll try again.
Edit:
Got it. Fixed it. HURDUR BURTUR FURSTUR STRUNGUR

I get this strange bug when I install this pack (Note: This is the Short Circuit and I use the Southern Hospitality)

As you can see in the second picture the third person view is not concerned...
You can get rid of the issue by deleting the "c_engineer_arms" files in "\tf\models\weapons\c_models".

I have the exact opposite problem. It's fine in first person, but in third person it clips with the Engineer's hand/Gunslinger.
Here's another thing I've been meaning to try out

Scout jumpsuits
Do you still have this alternate skin, like how the engie one was released? :downs: I really like the gradient on the pants- just like Pyro's jumpsuit. (I'm assuming that's why you called it that!)
I downloaded the latest version of this, and I actually ran in circles while screaming when my pyro´s suit turned into actual rubber. I love you
PS: Is there any way for getting the last update with normal pyro gloves (not only black ones)
I'm really looking forward to the final release with standard-res versions of these. My video card's not the best but I really like some of the color changes, so I'm waiting on compression.
Or would there be a way to use these and have the same performance? Installing the pack and setting texture detail to Medium/High instead of Very High?

The answer is closer than you think:

I use High texture detail and they look just fine.
My question was more... Will these textures at Medium or High use the same amount of video memory as the standard ones do at Very High?
My graphics card is 512MB, and recommended for best performance with this pack is 1GB+, so I'm guessing I'll need to downscale them in-engine or wait for a compressed version.
Regarding a post that I made earlier, I would really like to see a consistency with the Robots have glowing eyes. I say this because in-game the Heavy robots (and a few other robot types) look like this...

... and in the trailers and posters they look like this...

It's a particle in the trailer, just like how they are ingame.
It's still highly inconsistent. Either make them all glow or make them all not glow, not half and half.
